Hi Ladies,

Lisa that is good news!! What did they say about that part of his heart that looked like a hard spot? What do they do for this pvc condition just meds? I hope it all comes out ok. Please keep us posted. I will continue to keep both of you in my prayers.

Cindy I am glad you are feeling better and got out of the house a bit. I hope you enjoy your dinner out.

Sas I hope this next trip goes better too!!!

I went and got all my errands done but I had to take little GD. She ran and got her coat and insisted on going along. No matter what her mom said she just kept begging to go. We had fun but she was so sleepy by the time we returned. I got some movies and she picked one too,. It is an old pbs show that my youngest DD used to watch years ago. It has kept her busy for quite awhile after her nap. I did not get a pedicaure today but I did buy some new makeup. That was kind of fun I don't do it very often. I am going to call and make a pedicure appt though for next week sometime when they can get me in. Well I hope you are all having a good weekend!

Good evening ladies

Hope you are all well and resting and enjoying your Saturday

Lisa, My thoughts are with you and your ds – keep us posted. And…Happy gardening!

Lulu, congratulations on your tennis and raffle to boot!

Hyper, hope you and the kids get some relief and have a fun weekend. Excellent move on the grocery delivery, that was a very good idea.

Jan, sorry to hear about your glasses. They must have mucked up on your prescription. I think your back up plan to go back to your old ones sounds good. I enjoyed reading about your fun expedition with GD.

Happy shopping scrapper!

Glad the weekend is here, I’m off for 2 days .
For the next month, I’m on a Monday to Friday week as I’m receiving training. I will surely miss those weekdays off. Well all we talk about here is snow, snow, snow. We had a pretty good storm on Wednesday, yesterday we had 6 inches. Right now we are having a major storm, snow, freezing rain and winds up to 60 MPH that will last till tomorrow morning with a total of 12-16 inches of snow!. I’m just listening to live feed on the internet between air traffic control and pilots landing in Montreal, it’s fascinating. I wouldn’t want to be the person landing those giant planes. I hear the Paris flight diverted to Maine, but good old Canadian and American pilots are landing! Because of the forecast, I went to visit my mother this morning and ran all my errands before this whole mess started and will stay put till Monday morning. Made some tacos (thanks for the idea Jan) for dinner.

Have a nice Sunday !!

2007 - Hysterectomy Oct 01, 2007 - Oct 08, 2007

Hello everyone! My week last week was unbelievable. My boss got fired!!!!! It was very, very difficult. He was a very difficult person and truly brought it on himself but it's still hard to watch. I am so emotionally drained. My grandma had 3 strokes and so my family in Texas is up in arms. My DM is there right now checking on things. She is home but has speech issues and i doubt things will ever be the same for her. Also, the little guy that delivers our mail passed away unexpectedly and that was very sad. Attended his funeral on (okay can't remember which day this week it was!) and it was very nice. He was literally one of the kindest people I've ever met in my life. He had 2 grown daughters and they took it pretty hard. He was kind of a loner and they didn't know he was sick (neither did we). Bless him...what a week!!!!!

Lisa that was good news about your DS, sorry you had to go through so much to get there but now you know what you're dealing with.

Linda- can't belive all the snow. Hope your training goes well and it doesn't disrupt your schedule too much.

Jan- I knew I should have dealt with your glasses! This past week would have been a prime time for me since I was all worked up anyhow. LOL. You're right, enough is enough. One problem with the next pair and i'm on a plane to wherever it is you live!!

Karen- you go, winning the tourney!!! And the raffle. I'm like you, don't win much but it sure feels good when you do.

Cindy- been keeping up on your household. Glad it's getting somewhat better. Oh and I'd pay $7 for grocery delivery and the store is less than a mile from my house!! What a great option.

quick- I have a friend that's a PT and I think they like to push pretty hard. It will get better, hope you get some permanent relief soon.

sas- hope you're enjoying your weekend.

suki- hope you're Wii-ing like crazy these days and you're feeling better.

Joan- glad you had fun at the casino. I'm like you, I will take $20 or $40 and that's it. i can't say I've won much. My 1st honeymoon we went to Aruba and I did win several hundred dollars at the casino there. That was a lifetime ago!!

Well, when we moved into this house, we decided to get new countertops and keep the cabinets. Now, I've decided I hate the cabinets but can't afford to have them damage my new countertops, so looking at refacing the cabinets. Another project, that's all I need!! Should have the contractor starting on the bathroom remodel in a couple of weeks, probably when we get back from Orlando. Actually, he's my friends husband that lives up the street so I guess he could do it while we're gone. That would be nice. After that, it's the backyard. DH has some wacky idea that I am going to have to divert him from so we can get it done. 2 good things about this week, paid off my car and I made it through every trial!!! God is good...

Today was a beautiful day and I got all my flowers planted. I can tell that tomorrow I will be paying for it. My legs are starting to get very sore from all the kneeling. Oh well, they look very nice. I can't wait for them to start maturing and fill in. I planted impatients and begonias. Tomorrow I will have to spend the day indoors getting this house back in order.

I haven't posted an update on my nephew, because they haven't heard anything yet. My sister is going to call her primary Dr. on Monday to see if they have the report back on his echocardiogram. We are thinking at this point that no news is good news.

Grateful sounds like you have had quite a week. I hope your Grandma will be okay. Congratulations on paying off your car. I have 3 more payments on mine

Linda it sounds like you are having horrible weather right now. Stay safe.

Jan it sounds like you and gd had a nice shopping trip. As far as the hard spot on Andrews heart the new Dr. didn't quite understand what the other Dr. was talking about. That is why the new Dr. is going to re-do the tests that were done here. He said that there is medication for the PVC's, but doesn't feel that he is at that point right now.

I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend.

Happy Sunday!!

Nice sunny day here. About 35, so a warmer one too and we are happy for it. My DD stayed out with friends last night so we had GD to ourselves all morning until she went with her dad at 12:30. We made a big breakfast and then she was our "helper." She was scrubbing everything she could in the kitchen with a wet dishrag. She was so proud of herself. When her uncle got up she had to show him all her progress. She helped fold towels too. Basically she unfolded everything as fast as I folded it! She was enthralled by DH with shaving cream on his face. She wanted to have some too. She makes us laugh!! DH and I have to go to youngest DD's pom awards ceremony at 4:00. There will be treats only, so I am making an early dinner that we can eat before we go. meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, and cabbage. I still have about 2 loads of laundry to finish also.

Murph wow you really got socked again. I hope you got to your Mom's and all is well for you. I think I would like your training schedule but I know it is a huge change for you. I hope the time passes quickly. Enjoy your day off!!

Grateful sorry about you Grandma and your friend. I hope things calm down for your family. Who is going to replace your boss? I hope it is someone you like. I am envious of you ladies and your remodeling. This old place could use a bunch of that, but I don't expect that to be in the budget for awhile. DS and DD need to be finished with school for sure before any of that around here.

Lisa I am glad this Dr seems to have it all under control. I will continue to think of your DS. Your flowers sound beautiful. I am not one for working in the yard, believe me I have a black thumb, but I am so excited to see, leaves, and green, and flowers again.

Karen I have heard Juno is wonderful. I am glad you had a good time with DD. I hope you are off enjoying some lovely weather today.

Have a great day ladies!!

I have all the windows open and am on a cleaning frenzy. Luckily, I woke up with a lot of energy today. I feel like I am finally getting my house back in order.

Jan it sounds like you have had a great day with your gd. I cannot wait to be a Grandma.

Tonight I am fixing french dips and french fries. I bought some roast beef yesterday from the deli and it will be perfect for french dips. Right now everyone else is at work and I have the house to myself. Well me and the cats. Right now I can hear the Mama cat running around with something in her mouth and meowing like crazy. Some days I feel like I am living at the zoo.

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend

Hi everybody,

Gratefulme, what a week for you. It’s a good sign when you can see positive things in life. Good luck with the renovations.

Last night I got a call from work, they’ve closed the airport and they were looking for people to come in today to work overtime! It’s the first time I ever hear that happening, things are pretty bad. They’ve diverted planes everywhere. I had to say no.

Made some vegetable soup and some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies (light!), did laundry and ironing. Also did a bit of shoveling, my poor husband did most of it (we have a contract for the most part of the driveway, TG!). Off to making dinner which is parmesan chicken.

To all, happy 5-month anniversary!!! Have a nice week ladies.

Hi All,

The ceremony went well. My daughter got the most dedicated award and they served a cheesecake assortment. GD was outstandingly crabby when she came home from her dad's. Un fortunately that happens quite regularly. After we got her to bed we watched a movie. Time for bed around here to gear up for the week ahead.

I hope you all had a great weekend!!
Sleep well.

Good morning ladies!

It was a good weekend. I don't like the time change though! I'm really tired this morning. Today is my hot lunch day. I haven't been there for two weeks because I've had to have a sub because of sick kids. DD has a dentist appt this afternoon and dance tonight. Back to a regular schedule.

Murph you all sure have been dumped with snow this year. I'm glad you could get your errands done and visit with your mom before it hit. I hope you're training goes well! I think you made the right choice to turn down the overtime.

grateful I'm sorry for the awful week you had. I sure hope this week is better. You sure do have alot of remodeling projects. I hope you are able to get them all done.

Lisa I'm glad you got your flowers planted. What a nice day. And I'm glad you got your house cleaned. I can't wait to be able to open all the windows.

Jan it sounds like you had a nice weekend. I'm glad the ceremony went well. Cheesecake sounds good!

Joan we miss you. Hope you well and having lots of fun.
Suki hope all is well with you too.
Sas hope you had a good weekend and that you are doing well.

I hope you all have a great day.
