Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi ladies,

Our school picnic Friday was fun. Lots of good food. I worked the weekend and we didn't do much else. DH took Monday and Tuesday off and we got everything packed. We are ready, however, we got an email yesterday from the bank. The underwriters are back up and our closing is delayed a week. So now we don't close until next Thursday. I was so disappointed I could have cried. Now we will be living out of boxes, but that's o.k. I'm just glad we're packed. I work tonight and tomorrow night. Did I tell you dd is in volley ball. Her coach said she is doing well. This is her first time playing. LDS started a tumbling class last night. He loved it. Well Id better wake up those kiddies.

Scrapper I'm glad the vision appts. went well. It sounds like you had a nice weekend. It's too bad your friends had to cancel for scrapping, but it sounds like you still got alot of pages done. Wow only three months until dd gets her braces off. That probably seems like a long time to her, but it will go by quick. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you will get your dog on Friday.

Jan it sounds like you and gd had a nice day together. That's too bad dumb a had to do that. That just confuses her. It sounds like she's doing well with her letters.

Have a good day.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Good morning ladies,

I have lots of work today so I know itis going to be a busy day. I have my cup of coffee so I'm ready to go...lol.

Yesterday after work I picked dd up and we went to the gym. On the way home made a quick stop at the market and headed home to have dinner. The rest of the evening was spent relaxing, watching TV, and packing lunch.

Hyper - congrats on getting everything packed - that is great. Too bad they are behind and it will delay things. I can understand how you felt. At least you are done with the packing. Glad that LDS and Dd are enjoying volleyball and tumblin. I love playing volleyball. Dd said that in PE they have been playing volleyball and that she was liking it.

Well I better get to work. Have a great day.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Good morning ladies,

Yesterday dh took another PTO day and we just did some small odds and ends that needed to be finished. I can't believe we got everything done. For awhile I though we'd never be packed. I worked last night. DD had volleyball practice after school. DH picked her up and then took BDS to get a haircut. He has picture day today at school. Today I have to catch up all my laundry. I have to work again tonight. DD has a volleyball game. I have to miss it, but DH will be there. That's the one thing I don't like about working evenings, is that I have to miss some of the kids events. I've always been there for everything. It's been hard in that aspect.

Scrapper I'm glad you had a relaxing evening. I hope work isn't too busy for you today.

Have a nice day everyone.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Good morning ladies,

Dd and I went for a long walk yesterday when I got home from work. We took Buster and were gone for an hour. It was still hot but there was a slight breeze so it was good.

We stopped at Subway before heading back home. We were actually tired by the time we got home.

It's been a hectic morning with miscellaneous things going on. At least my phones are a little on the quiet side.

This evening we have Back to School Night at dd's school. I"m looking forward to meeting her teachers.

Our weather is warming up again....high 90's.

Today I"m calling the shelter to make sure the dog is still there and if in fact he is available for pick up tomorrow.

Mrswillie & Lisa - hope all is going well with you.

Have a great day.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Happy Friday ladies,

We got our new dog!!! Dh and I dropped dd off at school and headed to the shelter. We got there at 8am and had to wait until 10am. So we sat in the car and talked. He got a rabies shor and has to go back on Tuesday for his surgery - snorfleing. The good thing is I get to pick him up that same day. When we got home we took him outside with Buster so that they could get to know each other. I had to leave to come to work..dh is working from home the rest of the day.

Dd had a minimum day at school today so I know she will be anxious to get home and see him...Maxy Jr.

Dd has tutoring at 4pm today. When I pick her up we will proably pick up dinner. We'll also have to make a stoip at the pet store.

Tomorrow dd has a retret for her religious ed class...it is from 1:00 to 6:15...it includes 5:15 mass. So I will meet her at mass. Other than that no other major plans. We will see what comes up....I'm looking forward to just staying hiome and resting.

Hope you all have a good weekend!!

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi ladies,

I worked last night. DD's team won their volleyball game and dd made the winning serve! I'm so proud of her and also sad that I couldn't be there to see her. She also has a game on Saturday and I have to work again, so dh will go. Last night dh ran out and got lunchmeat and easy food items to eat since we packed our kitchen already. Today was lds's day off. We ran out and did a few things this morning, then we came home and played together. He said, " this is like old times, it brings back memories". I'm glad he's home of Fridays. BDS's school is having homecoming week next week. He's been working on an art project for school and he'll finish it up this weekend. He is doing fairly well so far in high school. We got the official word from our realtor that our closing will be next Friday at 9:00am. No more delays. We are just hanging out relaxing at home tonight.

Scrapper congrats on getting Maxy Jr.! I bet dd was really excited when she got home. I'm really happy for you all to have found another dog fairly quickly. I hope dd has fun at her retreat.

Lisa and Jan hope you are both doing well.

Have a nice evening.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi Ladies,

We had a very busy week at work. We ended the week with inservices so there was no computer time for me. Last night DH and I went out for supper and then DH wanted to watch the Homecoming game. I know we don't have anymore High Schoolers but the games are big around here. DH had not gone to any this season and he misses it. Our HS won so it was nice for the kids.

DH is off the whole weekend which is nice. It was a lazy morning today. We slept in, had breakfast, and made a shopping list before getting dressed. Dh just left to go to his brother's to work on the race car and after I type this post I am going to head to the grocery store. I have rented Confessions of a Shopaholicand Seven Pounds so we will watch those this weekend. Of course I have my laundry to do. It is nice to have a lazy weekend.

Cindy Congrats on being all packed!!!! I am sorry the move got postponed but having your closing all set is great! How exciting. DD sounds like volleyball might be her sport for HS. I am glad the boys have done so well in their transition. That was a sweet story about LDS Friday.

Scarpper I am so glad you got your dog! Why does he have to have surgery?? I am glad he gets to come home the same day. I hope DD enjoys the retreat. Enjoy the relaxing weekend.

It has been awhile since we have heard from Lisa. I hope all is well. Happy weekend everyone!!

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi ladies,

I worked this weekend. Since I was working to make up for having to have next weekend off, which is my regular weekend, I worked the evening shift both nights. Saturday dd had a volleyball tournament. They came in 3rd out of 10 teams. Sunday we went to lunch before I went to work. I'm off now until Wednesday. Other than laundry, there's not much to do around here, since we are all packed. I'm meeting a friend of mine for lunch today. Tonight dh has a school board meeting, so me and the kids will spend some time together and relax. I'm getting anxious for Friday to come. We all are.

Jan that is nice that dh had the weekend off. It sounds like you had a nice Saturday morning together. Were the movies good? It is nice to have a relaxing weekend. Since I worked two weekends in a row, I'm now off two weekends in a row. This coming one will be spent moving, but I hoping the next one after will be a relaxing one.

Scrapper I hope your weekend was good and you are enjoying your new puppy.

Lisa we miss you. Hope all is well.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Good morning,

Sounds like everyone had a good weekend. Ours was nice too and relaxing.

Maxy Jr is doing well. He's very lovable and wants to be where someone is at. If we are in the living room, he will lay by our feet or want to be picked up then snuggles up right up against your body.

We took him to the vet on Saturday and he is fine. She said that he is healthy and has all his shots. Tomorrow he is going in to be snorfleed. He isn't fixed and it's the law that they must be fixed. Dh is taking him in the morning, and dd and I will pick him up as soon as I get home from work.

Dd enjoyed her retreat. She said that they did lots of group activities getting to know one another. She told me yesterday that 2 of her friends are pregnant. One is a sophomore and the other a senior. She said "they ruined their lives - they are so young to become parents." I was shocked at the news.

While dd was at her retreat, I did laundry, cleaned and watched TV. Then I went to meet her at mass. Dh grilled burgers for dinner...they turned out great.

Yesterday we went to the cemetery to leave my mom her flowers. My youngest sister had called to say that she wasn't going to go because she brought work home (she's the teacher). My other sister didn't come. So dd cleaned my mom's headstone and I arranged the flowers. We sat there and enjoyed the weathter and the quietness. Dd was working on homework and I was looking at the sale ads. We left and picked up dinner and stopped at the market. Dd wanted to buy a cake for her friend's bday today.

Hyper - I'm sure dd was so happy making the winning serve. Sounds like she is enjoying it. So cute what LDS said - at least he has Fridays off to spend with you. 4 more days until moving day....arent' you glad that you are all packed up already?? Now it is just the waiting. glad you have the next 2 weekends off. I will give you time to settle into your new home. Yes, dd was excited when she got home on Friday. She gave Maxy a bath - big difference - clean and so soft. enjoy your lunch with your friend today.

Mrswillie - hope this week is a bit less hectic for you. Your lazy weekend sounded so nice. I slept in until 9 yesterday and it felt so good. I enjoyed Confessions of a Shopaholic. Haven't seen Seven Pounds yet. How is YDD doing with her classes...adjusted to her schedule? How is her room coming along?

We're having chicken tostadas for dinner. My best friend and her daughter are coming over on their way home. They want to visit and see our new doggie. I haven't seen my friend since last month.

Well back to work...need to go make a delivery to another floor. We still don't have a set date for our moving down to the 16th floor. I have 2 more file drawers that I need to clean out. Our weather this week is really heating up....triple digits....yuck!!!

Have a great day.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi ladies,

My friend and I had a nice lunch yesterday. We were there for two hours. Last night dd had a friend over for a little while then we just relaxed for the evening. Today I spent time looking for my can opener. I wanted to make tuna salad for my lunch and realized I packed my can opener. It took me awhile but I found it. Tonight dd has volleyball practice after school. Lds has his tumbling class tonight right after dd's volleyball. Dh and bds will go to slots tonight.

Scrapper maxy jr. sounds adorable. A great addition to your family. It sounds like you had a nice relaxing weekend. I'm glad dd enjoyed her retreat. That is too bad about her friends. They are so young. It's good that dd realizes that. I hope everything goes well with maxy's surgery. I am glad that we are already packed. I'm so glad we are ready and can start moving right after the closing.

Have a good day everyone.
