Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi ladies,

It has been a steady pace at work. I just back from lunch awhile ago. had to go to the bank. So now I'm having my lunch at my desk.

Dd and I will head to the gym and make a stop at the market after our workout. We are having chicken tostadas for dinner. Just plan on relaxing this evening and going through some of my mail.

My doctor appt went well yesterday. My diabetes is fine. I go back in 3 months. I got my flu shot and pneumonia as well. Since I turned 50 I have to have a colonoscopy. I have an appt on Nov. 8th to see the specialist.

Hyper - your new schedule sounds good. At least you know what days you will have off. I know you are excited about your ODS and grandson arriving. Have a great time while they are here. Looking forward to hearing about their stay and seeing some pics.

Have a good evening.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Happy Friday ladies,

My phone lines have been busy...just awhile ago I had 3 lines ringing. I'm glad that my work day is almost over.

This evening dd and I have to go to Target for some things we need. She said that she has run out of her face wash and other things. I have to return a sofa cover that I bought...it didn't fit. I noticed that they sold sofa throws so I'll look at those. On the way home we will pick up dinner.

We are going to have our yard sale tomorrow. so this evening we will
sort through the stuff and get it ready. I'm also going to have dd make the signs to post on our block and on the main street. I hope we do fairly well. Other than the yard sale we have nothing else going on. I want to stay around home and just relax. We do have a movie from the video store so we will watch that either this evening or tomorrow.

Hyper - I hope that you are having a great time with ods and grandson. Looking forward to hearing about it next week. Have a good weekend.

Good morning ladies,

What a change in the weather we have today. It is cool and drizzly after a very warm weekend.

I'm tired this morning. We had a pretty busy weekend with the yard sale. We started prepping Friday evening. Dd and I started sorting through the clothes and stacked it by items...pants, tops, short sleeve, long sleeve, etc. Dd made the signs to post up. It is hard work setting it all up and then taking it down. We put our stuff out both days and sold $156. Dh wants to do it again this weekend. I told him after that we will donate what doesn't sell.

Yesterday afternoon dd and I went to the cemetery and one of my sisters came. We picked up dinner and went to my dad's. My sister's tenant is a seamstress so we talked to her about making dd's Halloween costume. So she took dd's measurements. She is going to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. She has said for several years that she wanted to be Dorothy.

Hyper - hope you had a great visit with ODS and your grandson.

Back to work. Have a good day.

Hi ladies,

My visit with ODS and my GS was wonderful. I was able to have Thur., Fri. and Saturday off. I had to work Sunday, but they stayed until I got home from work Sunday then we said good bye and they headed out. It was really hard saying goodbye. We took them to the mall of America on Saturday. Thurs. I took them shopping and bought all of the grandkids something and I bought ODS and his girlfriend something. Friday evening ODS took BDS out for dinner. They have always been close and he wanted to spend a little time alone with him.We have tons of pictures. I will send some to you scrapper when we get them all downloaded. Today right after school dd has a volleyball game. It is a home game luckily so no traveling. Then after that we have to head over to the firehouse. I got a call this weekend that lds won a prize for his fire prevention safety poster that they made at school. They will give him his prize and take his picture to be put in the paper. He is really excited. So it will be a busy evening, but tomorrow is my day off.

Scrapper you did well at your garage sale. I like dd's idea for her Halloween costume. I'm sure it will be cute. You'll have to send me a picture. I supposed I'm going to need to start thinking about Halloween costumes pretty soon.

Have a great evening.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Good morning ladies,

Well we had a rainy day all day yesterday. It rained harder during the evening. they say there will be scattered showers today. It is pretty cloudy out.

Dd and I went to the gym shortly after I got home. Then we got back and I got busy making dinner. We watched some TV and then started getting our lunch packed.

Today not much going on just our workout and back home. I have couple more loads of laundry and then I'm done. We are having pork chops for dinner.

Hyper - how great that you were able to have 3 days off to spend with your ODS and grandson. Sounds like it was a very nice visit. It must have been nice for all the kids to catch up with each other. I'm sure that BDS was happy to spend some alone time with his big brother. You sure had a busy evening last night. That was good that dd's volleyball game was a home game especially with it being after school. Wow how exciting for lds...awesome!!!

Hope you enjoy your day off today.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi ladies,

DH took a pto day today. We went to lunch and then went to get groceries together. We made it back just in time to pick up the kids and then I came home and put everything away. It was nice to have dh home to unload everything. We have nothing going on tonight. Just a relaxing evening. I'm making cheeseburgers for supper.

DD's team won 1 out of 4 games. After the game we headed over to the firehouse. Lds actually won 1st place for his grade level. His prize was $10.00. His poster will be sent on to the state competition. They took a picture of all of the kids that won with their posters in front of the fire engine. It will be in tomorrow's paper.

Scrapper you sure had alot of rain. It is really getting chilly here. But all of the leaves are changing and it's really pretty. Fall is my favorite season. I can't wait to get all of my fall decorations out. I will do that after Halloween. Sounds like you have a fairly quiet evening tonight.

Have a nice evening.

hi ladies,

Last night after supper the kids did homework and we relaxed for the evening. The kids only had a half day today. DH took a half day of pto. He picked them up from school. When I came home they all had their homework done and their rooms cleaned. That was a nice surprise.I told dh maybe he should pick them up everyday! DH is washing the cars. DD is outside playing and lds and his friend are down in bds's room playing xbox. I'm making chicken fajitas for supper. Nothing much going on after that.

Scrapper hope you are having a good day.

Have a nice evening.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hello ladies,

Today is the 3rd day we have had rain. It was raining pretty steadily on my drive into work. As I look out the window from the 16th floor there are some pretty dark clouds out there.

I've been pretty busy today. Getting things done.

Not too much going on this evening other than heading to the gym. When we get back, we'll have dinner. Then I need to mop. Dd has a friend coming over after school tomorrow as they are partners in chemistry class. They have a project that is due on Monday.

Hyper - how nice that you and dh got to go to lunch and get groceries. How exciting for lds. I'm sure the kids will love seeing their picture in the paper. I love when the leaves start changing colors. I want to hang my fall wreath on the front door..maybe this weekend since we will be outdoors with the yard sale.

Have a good evening.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi ladies,

Well it looks like the rain is gone for now. It is cloudy out still but at least we can see more blue sky today. It is warming up starting tomorrow with a warm weekend. I can finally get my car washed...as it is so dirty.

Dd's friend is not coming over after school today after all. She is coming over on Saturday afternoon. So I have more time to do some straightening out of the living room and dining room. After our workout we will head back home for dinner. We are having bbq chicken. We'll watch some TV too.

Since it is nice out, I may go for a walk during lunch. The fresh air always feels good.

Hyper - that was such a nice surprise to come home to. Everyone home early, all homework done, and rooms cleaned. That is pretty awesome. Did dh laugh when you told him that he should pick the kids up everyday?

Well back to work. Have a good afternoon/evening.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi ladies,

We have hired a new person at work. He is a younger guy. He has been training all week. He is actually taking my current schedule when I move to my new schedule on the 16th. I trained him today. I think he is going to be a good addition to our unit. He's a nice guy, and seems like he will do well. We have had a couple of beautiful fall days. Sunshine and decent temps. Tonight dd has volleyball practice. Not much else going on. I'm making chili for supper tonight. I am going to do a couple loads of laundry. I actually have a load started.

Scrapper I'm glad you finally have a break from the rain. That's good that you have a little more time to get things in order for dd's friends visit. DH did laugh when I told him he should pick up the kids everyday. He did well with it yesterday, but I don't think it's something he would want to do everyday.

Have a nice evening.
