Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi ladies,

We went to dd's game yesterday afternoon. I made chicken fajitas when we got home. the kids did their homework and then we watched some t.v. in the evening.

today dd has another game. DH went but I didn't go this time. I'm making fried chicken, mashed potatoes and corn for supper. We will probably watch t.v. this evening and relax.

Scrapper what a fun weekend. I'll bet it was nice at the beach. The zumbathon sounds like fun and for a good cause as well. sorry you have to have surgery, but I'm sure you'll be glad to have the problem fixed. DD did alot of driving this weekend. That's good. Lots of practice. She'll be a pro by the time she takes her driving test. She hasn't taken it yet has she?

Have a good evening

Hi ladies,

Today dh and lds are both home sick again today. I still haven't totally gotten over it. I went up to the grocer and got a few groceries this morning. I'm doing some laundry. I have to run up later and pick up lds's homework. Dd has practice after school. I made beef stew for supper. Now it just has to simmer in the crockpot all day. I'll put some crusty bread in the oven before we eat. Just t.v. and relaxing for this evening.

Scrapper hope your day is going well.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi ladies,

It has been a pretty busy day. I had a training to go to this morning. It was about Workplace Violence....very informative & interesting.

We are going to have Subway for dinner tonight. We have to mke 2 stops before going to zumba class. We have to go buy dd's bus pass for October and I need to get gas. Once we are home relaxing and watching some TV.

Dd sent me a text this morning telling me that her English class was cancelled for today. So she went to the library with her 2 friends. Extra studying time for them.

Hyper - sorry to hear that dh & lds are still sick. I think my cold lasted 2 about 2 weeks. Hope they feel better soon. Your fried chicken dinner sounded so good. Dd's driving test is Friday afternoon. I hope she passes the first time. She has been getting lots of practice.

Have a good evening.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi ladies,

I walked over to the farmers market during lunch. It is very nice out. i bought strawberries and peaches. It is nice walking around. I sampled fruit.

Today is dh's birthday. He took today and tomorrow off...one day as a furlough and the other as vacation. I am making bbq chicken breast, mashed potatoes and veggies. We are going out on Saturday with the family to celebrate. He is picking dd up after school and they are going to go out driving.

Today dd is going to a meeting for one of the clubs she is interested in. It has to do with kids and you can work in the child care centers at the school. I forget the exact name of the club. I'll be interested to hear about it. tonight is her last class of the 3rd cake decorating class. She starts the
4th course next week.

I will go to zumba class after I drop dd off. She will be done at 8pm. then we can relax and watch some TV.

Hyper - hope everyone is feeling better today. Did you hear anything about the interview you went on? Have a good evening.

Hi ladies,

DH picked dd up from practice yesterday. We had beef stew for supper. The kids did homework in the evening. I had picked up lds's homework earlier. Luckily he didn't have too much. We watched t.v. in the evening.

Lds went back to school today. DH stayed home again. DD had a game after school. We had leftover beef stew for supper. The kids are doing homework then we will watch some t.v.

Scrapper happy birthday to your dh. Good luck to dd on her driver's test. The club she is interested in sounds good. I forgot to tell you that I didn't get the job I applied for.

Have a good evening.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Happy Friday ladies,

It has been a busy day at work. I am looking forward to another 3-day weekend. Taking another furlough day on Monday. My next one will be in November. We have to take 3 by December.

Not much going on this evening. Have a few errands to run which includes a stop at Target. Dd wants to stop at Michaels to get some baking supplies. She got her first order...2 dozen cupcakes. My boss ordered them for a baby shower for work.

Tomorrow we are going out to lunch for dh's birthday with the family. Dd is making his cake. She has a cute idea. I will share a picture of the cake she made for her final project for her cake decorating class. She starts the final class next week.

I look forward to getting a call from dd/dh about her driver's test. She said she isn't nervous which should help her. She is excited about the K.I.D.S. club...sounds interesting.

Hyper - Glad lds didn't have too much homework. Hope dh is feeling better. Hope you had a good work day. Enjoy your weekend. How are the puppies doing? Something better may come along down the line -jobwise.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi ladies,

I am off today on furlough. It has been a nice & leisure morning. Took dd to school this morning...she drove. Then I made 2 stops on the way home...the market and the tire place to have my tires chekced. The light had been on telling me air was low. Sure enough they all were somewhat low. The guy said it was due to the hot weather.

I came home and had breakfast. I baked some cupcakes for dd this way all she has to do is decorate them. They are what my boss ordered from her. i did 2 loads of laundry and made the meat for dinner. We are having tacos.

I'll be leaving to pick dd up from school shortly. She gets out at 1pm today. Then I have a 2pm eye doctor appt. to have my eyes dialated and checked. Then we can come home and relax for a couple of hours before heading out for zumba.

We had a good weekend. Friday evening we ran our errands and stopped at Target. We had chinese food for dinner. Then we came home and relaxed.

Saturday dd baked 2 cakes for dh's bday lunch. We went to Golden Corral a buffet place that opened not long ago. it was pretty good with lots of selections. It was nice getting together with the family. The rest of the late afternoon we were home. Dd had homework and prepping for 2 tests this week. I did some cleaning, went to the market, and we took the dogs on a walk. We relaxed the rest of the evening.

Yesterday we went to church and later afternoon went to meet my sisters.

Hyper - hope you had a good weekend and that you are having a good day off. Hard to believe it is October. I put my Fall tablecloth on the dining room table. Looks nice.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi ladies,

We had a good weekend. Friday I made cheeseburgers, fries, and baked beans for supper. We relaxed and watched t.v. in the evening.

Saturday dd had a tournament. We had to get up early, the tournament started at 8:30. They were done about 12:30. We stopped and had lunch on the way home. Dd and lds played outside for awhile when we got home. After dinner we relaxed and watched some t.v.

On Sunday we went to church. DD is in Junior choir this year and they sang in the service. We came home and changed. The kids did their homework, then went out to play for awhile. We went out to my favorite mexican restaurant for supper. Then relaxed and watched t.v.

This morning I went shopping for groceries. I came home and put everything away then I watched a show I had taped. I'm making stroganoff for supper. DD is at practice, dh will pick her up on the way home.

Scrapper yay! for your 3 day weekend. Did dd pass her driving test? It sounds like dh had a nice birthday celebration with the family. Your morning sounds nice and relaxing.

Have a nice evening.

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi ladies,

I am back at work today. It hasn't been too bad. I had a meeting this morning. My boss is holding a series of division wide meetings with the topic varying to what is happening and so that everyone is aware. It was interesting. The next one is on Thursday.

Not much going on this evening. We are going to work out just depends what time dd is done practicing parallel parking. My sister in law is coming over to give her some tips. She works training bus drivers. Dd didn't pass the driving test on Friday. She didn't pass the part with parking and blind spots...looking over her shoulder. I am making pork chops, rice & steamed veggies for dinner. then we will relax and watch TV.

Dd has 2 tests this week. Tomorrow is her first one in history class. Friday will be in math. she is re-taking the driving test Thursday morning before school. Dh will take her. Yes, dh's bday celebration was nice. He got an ipad and loves it.

Hyper - sounds like you had a good weekend. Yay for going out to your favorite mexican food place. Your day off sounded nice too...glad you were able to relax and watch your show. Enjoy your zumba class this evening.
