twobtrue: I had about 20 staples on the exterior of the incision. I can tell you that when they took my staples out it was completely painless! Not even a twinge of pain! Just make sure you point it out to your doctor as soon as you walk through the door on Monday. If it is a staple, it'll only take a second to remove and it won't hurt a bit!

Hi ladies! You aren't going to believe it but I don't feel too bad today! hahaha! You're not used to hearing that from me lately! Pain is minimal, bleeding still there but minimal. Why the heck are some of still bleeding when we aren't supposed to have those parts anymore? GEEZ! I thought I was done all that! I had a tampon burning party before the surgery and today I had to go to WalMart and get pantiliners! My ex called me today. What an ***! I can't believe I didn't leave him sooner! Hah! I must be getting better! I'm returning to my catty self!

Hope you all have a nice afternoon! And remember, chocolate has medicinal purposes!

I have been having that heat feeling also. My dh says it means it is healing. I don't know but it definitely feels different.

Why this talk of chocolate? You are all trying to tempt me, aren't you?

I promised myself that once I was feeling better I was going to become very healthy and eat right and exercise more. Now all I can think of is chocolate. I want some! I want lots!

Seriously, (and I seriously want chocolate) my part of Maine escaped much effects of Noel. Some wind and heavy rain but not as bad as the coast. No snow yet but it's in the forecast for later in the week.

I'm still feeling really good. I haven't driven yet but I may just have to to get - - - chocolate!

I was making a quick bread yesterday for a pot-luck (hubby went, I stayed home) and I dropped the box of baking soda. I grabbed the broom to sweep it up and my dear husband told me I wasn't to do that yet. I really think not exerting has helped me tremendously.

Good luck to you all. I look forward to reading of everyone's progress. It's hard to believe it's been almost 5 weeks already.

Speaking of chocolate..I have three lovely halloween buckets full of chocolate here. I sneak in there every day and have my chocolate fix. I gotta stop doing that. Especially since I can't do a thing to work it off. Didn't have a great day yesterday. I was just really tired and felt blah. DH took me to my favorite restaurant and I didn't really enjoy it because I was too tired and my belly was the size of a basketball when we were done. Today was good though. We went to Walmart. I decided to try walking instead of using the motorized cart. We were in there about an hour and I did good. A little tired now, but no soreness. I'm just chillin the rest of the evening.

I just wanted to share this with you. My DH had not been very helpful or supportive since I've been home. I've been so angry and just have had added stress that I don't need. So I though about it and thought about it and decided, maybe he just doesn't understand. So I had a really serious talk with him explaining to him how I felt and what a major surgery this is and so on. It really helped, he truly didn't understand. Things are so much better. He mopped the kitchen and bathroom floors and cleaned the bathrooms and surprised me by buying me a really cute track suit I can wear when I go out. Just thought I'd share that in case anyone else is having the same problem.

I started to feel really good, then a couple days I was very sore and couldn't figure it out. Now I think that I have been bending too much and not relying on my grabby thing the way I did in the beginning. I'm going to be more aware. Not sure if that was it but since I've not been bending as much, I feel better. At least I'll use my legs more and not bend from the waist as much just yet.
