Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Good morning ladies,

A quiet morning so far. Great to catch up on some things. My boss has 2 meetings and won't be back until after 12.

I got home yesterday and started making dinner. We had chicken tostadas. Dd and I went to zumba. We had a potluck after class and dd and I won prizes. It was a fun class. We watched TV and relaxed after dinner.

Today dd and her best friend are going to Disneyland. I am going to run some errands after work. I need to organize the gifts I have and get them ready. I'm picking up our Christmas card as well. We are having chicken, mashed potatoes and veggies. We will watch TV and relax this evening.

Hyper - hope your day is going well. Have a great day.

Hi ladies,

Yesterday we had our Christmas party for our 3 year old class. They were so excited and cute to have their parents there. They did crafts together, then we sang a couple Christmas songs, then had cookies and juice. After work I came home. We had sandwiches for dinner, then we headed to church. Dh and the kids sat together. I had to meet to get my choir robe then we had a short practice before the service. I was really nervous, it was my first time singing in front of the congregation. It went well. After the service we went home and watched some tv.

Today we had our Christmas party for our 4 year old full day class. They had regular class in the morning, then their parents came at 12:30. They made gingerbread houses together, then had refreshments. I have gotten some really nice gifts from the students.

After work I stopped at the grocer. We are making homemade pizzas for dinner. We will watch tv this evening.

Scrapper how scary to have a lockdown. I'm glad it turned out to be nothing. I hope your knees are feeling better. It sounds like you had a good time after zumba. I saw the picture on facebook. How lucky that you and dd both won prizes.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Happy Friday ladies,

Today is the last day for our schools. It has been quiet. We are having a holiday lunch today. Everything is so good....mini sandwiches, salad, fruit, pasta.

Yesterday after work I went to go run my errands. I got everything done. I sorted through all my shopping. Everything is organized in bags and ready for when I start wrapping. After dinner I watched TV. Dd got back late from Disneyland but she said they had a good time.

I am leaving at 3 today. I am going to a play this evening with my good friend. She treats me every year for my birthday. This is the first play we could make it to. Looking forward to spending time with her and relaxing.

Tomorrow we are getting our tree. In the evening we are going to a dinner for a reunion event from my graduating class. Looking forward to seeing everyone that is going.

On Sunday my sister in law is hosting Christmas for their side of the family. It is potluck so it should be nice. Looking forward to getting together.

Hyper - sounds like the 3 year olds had a good time at their party. Glad to hear your choir performance went well. I'm sure the 4 year olds had fun putting the gingerbread houses together. How sweet that you are getting nice gifts from the kids. Hope your day is going well. Enjoy your day and the weekend too!

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

I'm concerned about some pain I've started to have in the last week. I've been doing well with my recovery. I've been feeling good, energy level has been up and for the most part life is totally back to normal (minus the periods woo hoo!).

This strange lower pelvic area pain has progressively gotten worse in the last week. More on my left side. I'm wondering if it's just still healing pain, cramping from over doing it or wondering if there might be something wrong. Like I said earlier I've been feeling great.

Anyone else having pain this late in recovery?

Good morning ladies,

I had a great weekend. Friday evening my girlfriend and I went to the play If/Then with Idina Menzel. It was really good. We all got home around the same time. Dh went to his office Christmas party. Dd and her boyfriend had gone to dinner and the movies.

Saturday morning dd and I went to the community center for their holiday event. Santa was there, they had craft booths, 2 reindeer, a snow slide and jumpers for the kids. Very nice event. We then came back home and we went to get our tree. We set it up and then got ready for my high school event. It was great to see so many people. I haven't seen lots of them in years. I am so happy I went.

Yesterday we celebrated Christmas over at my sister in law's. Good fun and great to see everyone.

Today my cousin is coming to clean the house...yay!!!! So happy about that. Dd is running errands today then baking a carrot cake for an order for someone here at my work. Probably going to zumba tonight. We are having steak, potatoes and veggies. We will watch TV and relax. We will do some wrapping and finish the tree.

Hyper- I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Is everyone on vacation already? I am working today and tomorrow then off. Looking forward to the time off. Have a good day.

Hi ladies,

We had a good weekend. Friday we had our half day 4 yr old party at work. This was my last day before break. We relaxed and watched tv in the evening.

On Saturday mornng lds and I had to be at church at 9:00 for the Christmas cantata service on Sunday. All of the school children are in the cantata and my senior choir sings 2 songs with them at the end. We were there until 11:00. We went home and picked up dd. I had to go get lds and dress shirt and dress slacks. The ones he wore last year didn't fit. Dd went along because she needed to get a secret santa gift. We shopped around. I found what I needed for lds and dd found something. We stopped at culvers and ate on the way home. Dh was out running errands and said he would get food for himself. We watched tv in the evening.

On Sunday we went to church. After church we relaxed untill it was time to get ready for the performance. It went really well. Very beautiful cantata service. We stopped and picked up food for dinner on the way home. We watched tv in,the evening.

Today after I took the kids to school I cleaned the house. Dd's choir is going to the mall of america today to perform their Christmas concert. Afterwards they get time to eat and shop before the bus leaves. She had birthday money. Dh and I are going shopping to do last minute gift shopping. We are shopping for bds and his gf. We also have a few small things left to get for lds and dd.

Scrapper what a fun weekend you had! How fun to go see the play with your friend. The community center holiday event sound like a lot of fun. I'm glad you had a nice time at your reunion. It's nice to catch of with people you haven't seen. Its sound like you had a nice Christmas celebration at your sister-in-laws. How nice to come home to a clean house. Lds and dd also have school today and tomorrow. Their break will start Wednesday. It's kind of nice that I was off a couple days before them. I plan to wrap gifts tomorrow. It will be nice to do that while the kids are at school.

Have a good day.

Good morning,

Yesterday dd came in right as dh and I were getting ready to leave. She said she had a good time. She did a little shopping. She got 2 tops and a gift for bds.

Dh and I left to shop. We finished up our shopping for lds and dd and I got lds's teacher gift. When we we got home we watched a little tv before bed.

I am doing my laundry today. Lds has his Christmas party at school this afternoon. His class was going to wear ugly sweaters.

Tonight dh and I will go back out. We still need to get bds and his gf's gifts.

Scrapper I hope your day is going well.

Good morning ladies,

It is a rainy day. it started last night. It is really quiet at work today. My boss is on vacation already. she worked half day yesterday. I am excited about my last day today.

I went to zumba class last night at a studio that is really close to home. The class I would probably be going to is at 5:30. Dd went to teach at the community center. she taught a cupcake class and had a good number of students. We relaxed and watched TV after dinner. she then started working on the cake someone ordered from my work. It was a carrot cake and they wanted Christmas decorations. She did the top with various poinsettias..very pretty.

Today I am making pork chops, rice and veggies. We will finish up our tree this evening and probably do some more of our wrapping while watching TV.

Hyper - your weekend sounds nice...busy but good. Glad you found what you needed for lds. he must have had a growth spurt. The cantata service sounds like it was very nice. Yes, it works out great that you can get the kids gifts wrapped while they are in school...perfect! Nice that dd's Christmas concert went well and she was able to do some shopping. Lds teacher should take a group picture of the kids in their ugy sweaters. Good luck when you go shopping this evening. Hope you find their gifts. Have a good day!

Re: Hysterectomy dates Oct 01-Oct 08,2007

Hi ladies,

We had a good Christmas. On Christmas Eve bds and his gf came over. I had ordered a meat and cheese tray. We had that with potato salad, chips and dip, pickles and olives. Dh bought shrimp cocktail as well. I'm not a fan of shrimp but bds, his gf and dh enjoyed it. After we ate we exchanged gifts then we visited. It was bds's first Christmas living on his own. It was a little emotional for me, but we had a great visit.

On Christmas morning the kids opened their gifts. We had a nice day. We stayed in our jammies all day lol. I made a ham, with mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean caserole and cranberry sauce. The kids got some games so we played games.

On Saturday dh and I went and stocked up on groceries. It had been awhile since I did a good grocery shopping. We came home and I put everything away. Dd had called me while we were gone and asked if she could sleep over at her friends. She was already gone when we got home. We watched tv in the evening.

On Sunday we went to church. After church, dh went out to find a couple pair of slacks for work. Lds and I played a board game. We relaxed the rest of the day. Dh got home later. He found his slacks. He got a good price for them with after Christmas sales. I went and picked dd up from her friends then we watched some tv.

This morning I started cleaning out my closet. Then dd asked if we could run to target. She wanted to use some of her Christmas money to buy a small bookcase for her room. They were on sale for 16.00. So we ran and did that. I helped her put it together. After that if was almost time to start dinner, so I decided to continue with my closet tomorrow. I made baked pasta and breadsticks for dinner. We are watching some tv.

Scrapper I hope you had a nice Christmas and are enjoying your time off. The kids and I are loving being home. It will be a little hard to get back to our routines next week,

Our Christmas was very nice. Christmas Eve we went to church then out to dinner Dd then left to her boyfriend's house to celebrate with his parents. I finished wrapping dd's gifts.

Sunday we went to church. We got back and had lunch. I did a few things around the house then we left to go meet my sisters.

Yesterday after breakfast dd and I tackled our sheets, comforters and blankets. We got rid of old stuff and organized. Sure felt good. I did marketing, we wen to zumba then we all watched TV and relaxed after dinner.

This morning I went to drop off my car for an oil change am waiting for them to call me that it is ready. Dd went to Knotts Berry Farm with her boyfriend. He bought annual passes for her birthday. I am working in my scrapbook room today. Later on I am going to the gym. I also have to make a stop at Target for some things we need. I am making bbq chicken breasts with potatoes and veggies.
