Thanks Ladies as usual you are wonderful!

That is funny northof49! Does not seem logical but I guess she knows what she is talking about. Are your dogs border collies? I think I have seen them doing agility on television. My Buddy that I lost today was a Bichon. I have another dog, Daisy who is a mixed breed. Mom was a cocker and dad was a border collie.

My DH wants me to stop bawling because it is making him upset, and he thinks I will fell better if I stop. If he could just know that I can not stop or I would. I figure you gals with up and down hormones like me would get it.

mrswillie, I'm sorry to hear about your dog. I know exactly what you are going through as myself had to gently let go of my beloved dog last year.

Northof 49: I also do agility training. It's one of the things I was missing most since the surgery. Started back last week, very gently without running tho!

Take care everybody - having pizza for dinner, yayyy!

Mrswillie

Sorry to hear about your dog, they are really part of the family especially the little breeds, I have a ****zhu and a poodle ****zhu mix and they think they are people not dogs.

Northof49

Hey I can deal with no housework or work and I would be OK to be cleared for sex and nothing else. I see my doctor weekly but Wednesday is my original six week post op appointment we will see what he says.

It seems like a lot of ladies that had surgery when we did are back to their "normal" life, I have a feeling it will be a while for me since I will be doing radiation therapy for 8 week starting December. I am very fortunate to have people I work with take care of the work situations so I can concentrate on healing, I spoke to one of my peers this morning and she told me she will do whatever needs to be done for me so I don't have to worry, I am really blessed with that. I am going to owe her BIG TIME!

mrswillie, sorry to hear about your beloved dog. We lost our Anni 2 years ago and I still cry, but she was in pain. Our Cooler was 15 when he passed on. Just old he was. We alled him the Old Man. But he lived a dogs life , tats for sure. My heart goes out to you.

So sorry to hear about your dog. I've lost 3 over the last two years and I know how difficult it is. Remember the positive times together and when you are ready, give another dog in need a new loving home. They take care of us and we take care of them. I have two now, a chi and a chi-greyhound mix. They snuggle next to me to make me feel better and are even trying to be gentle when around me as they can sense something is wrong. Sorry for your loss.

mrswillie and murphmuffin: My agility superstar is a German Shepherd named Marina. Even though we can't compete for the last three months of the year she should still rank the #1 German Shepherd in Canada again this year. My other dog is an Australian Shepherd named Chicane. They are similar in temperment to a border collie - very fast, lots of energy and love to work. She is the one that is sick with the brain disease.

Six weeks post op for me today! Hopefully the next four weeks rest my doctor ordered will make me back to my normal self before Christmas!

Just nursing my swelly belly and waiting for Dancing with the Stars!

My SIL who is a wonder with dogs, has a German Shepard,Rex, and an Australian Shephard, Nellie. They are both beautiful dogs. That is fantastic about her being #1.

DH actually watched a video of Men in Trees with me this afternoon. I love that show and he always makes fun of it, he hates soapy shows, but he felt bad because he did actually finally realize I could not control it and he wanted me to relax. It helped as did you guys but you know it is just a difficult day. Thanks once again for your support.

Hi Ladies,
I'm still alive. As I may have mentioned, on Thursday I did a lot of damage to my booty, and it set me back about a week in recovery.
The weekend was spent lying around, I missed my celiac support Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday. I made the dish and was dressed and ready. I called the host and told her while crying that I was in too much pain to come. She was most understanding. I know she and her dh made 2 turkeys last year and had a lost of people not show. I profusely apologized for letting her down. I also missed my son's first basketball game as I couldn't bear to drive or sit. The coach picked him up and brought him home. I have so many people that I owe for helping me with driving. I'm not sure how I will repay everyone....yet.
I saw a doctor today and he prescribed a med to help me get my appetite back. I told him that my dh and I are fighting about me not wanting to eat. I need to get the desire for food back. I have a prescription and I'm filling it tomorrow. I was hurting too much after the appt and had to come home and go to bed. I'm living in my robe these days....soooo attractive.
I talk to a hystersister on the phone sometimes, more often lately. She's in TX and I'm in ID. It's nice to just be able to pick up the phone and hear your hysterbuddy on the other end. I encourage you all do it.
mrswillie, our family had to put our beloved jack russel beauty down in August this year. We enjoyed her all summer, but the pain she was in had to be stopped. It still puts tears in my eyes. I'm so sorry for your dog, and mostly for you and your dh. Give xtra hugs to your other baby as she/he is feeling a tremendous loss as well.
Sounds like the weekend was filled with a lot of activity for all the ladies.
wackadoo, I feel for you. I'm sorry your dh has issues that big. I hope you have a good support network close by. I feel for your stepson as well. He's only a kid.
I"ve got to go lay down or take my 4th bath of the day. Sorry for not checking in much this weekend. I write more when things are going really well. So sorry but that's the way it is. Good night, Michelle

Good morning
Well today is 6 weeks for me. I'm anxious for my post op Friday. I hope I'm healing well and that I'll be cleared to at least get back to some normalacy. My DH left on a business trip yesterday and won't be back until Thursday. He calls me last night and tells me he's arranged for a person to come in and clean our house. He gave me her number and said she has a list of everything that needs to be done and all I have to do is call her and tell her what day this week I want her to come in. It was a nice surprise, but I have never had anyone come in and clean for me EVER. I feel kind of weird about it. I'm embarassed to have anyone come in and see how dirty this house is. Maybe I should just be happy about it. I had be talking to my DH this past weekend about how I really want the house clean for the holidays and how even if I'm cleared to do some cleaning I don't know if I'll have the energy to get it done. I'm sure that's why he did it. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate it and I think it was nice of him I just feel kind of funny about it. I feel like I need to clean before someone comes in to clean. LOL Sorry for rambling on.

idahonurse I hope you will feel better soon.
Mrs. Willie I hope you're doing o.k. today.
Wackadoo I hope that you're doing o.k. today.

I hope everyone has a great day.
