Jan, Happy Birthday!!! I thinnk that it was great that you got to go out for lunch with your DH.. (I'm sorry about you dear Buddy)

I have been busy all afternoon so just getting time to tell you my apt went well, well sort of. My dr. was not in so I saw the nurse Pr. and she told me I did not have a prolapsed vagine buuut, she had a hard time entering it as it was stuck together.. IT hurt and I started bleeding but I could take that as long as I know that I don't need another operation. I do have to go back in 2 weeks.

I feel very close to everyone on this site.. I look forward to reading everyones posts. I feel for everyone who is having problems and am happy for everyone who has good news. so I plan on staying on here.

Jenn, I hope that you are coping with everything you are going thru. My prayers are with you.

hyperster, I am so glad that you called the lady to clean your house. You just might call that no. more often after this, LOL Enjoy

Love and healing to all!!

I told her I was a little hesitant and embarrassed and she told me she totally understood and for me not to worry to just enjoy the results. So that made me fee so much better and now I'm actually a bit excited about it.

Hoping your all enjoying your day.
Cindy it was warm and sunny here today about 63. You are right in my family it was always a joke as I was growing up that my birthday was the unofficial start of winter because it usually gray and cold here. My Dads bday is 11-1 and it is usually still decent on his bday but by mine it usually turns. Not this year though. I am really glad you made that appointment. I hope you love it and i think you will, because i know i would love it!

Joan Thank you for your kind words. I am so glad there was not a prolapse!! I wonder what caused that sticking together? Hopefully that will be better in 2 weeks. I am glad you plan to continue to post! As Tina said earlier I would be lost without you guys.

Jenn and Michelle thinking of you both often.

Take care all!

Thank you Jan and i hope that you are having a wonderful birthday.

I just got up from a very needed nap, time to make some coffee!!

I finally was able to reschedule my post op appointment for the 23rd, it is an emergeny appointment day however they did not want me to wait until Dec 12th. I talked to work and they are very understanding. That gives me an extra week off I am grateful for that!!

Aside from being tired i am feeling pretty good until potty time that is a rough process!

October 13,2007
Hi MrsWillie Happy Birthday! My birthday is Nov 5th. My present was my trip to the castle and I am thankful for it.
I saw my doctor that calls me Mrs. H he is really cool. I had four sutures that needed help getting out. I also had extra skin that he took care of.
he told me when I healed the skin overlapped he removed it. I need to wait for three days and douch and I am a go for fun with my DH.
my older daughter is going to gone for two days and I have my younger kids spending the night with their friend. I have been cleared for normal life.
He told me that it could be six months before I feel totally normal but just start getting back to living.
I have one issue that is frustrating. When I went to the doctor my blood pressure was too high. I had pre-clamsia when I was pregnant with my twins and I had to deliver at 28 weeks. When I delivered my blood pressure didn't change and I had to have three meds to reverse the readings. I am a miracle and so are my kids. this time it was like I was three months pregnant so its possible my body is freaking. also with the sutures being like a foreign object could affect my blood pressure. Time will tell. I will let you all know.
Everyone that is having a hard time with recovery I feel for your all.
remember that life will get better it just takes time.
Things have gotten better and in a year we will be so happy.
Debbie

Dear Hyperhyster. Totally understand. Before I had my op, I cleaned everything and everywhere just in case my friends came round and insisted that they cooked, cleaned. The thing is your home is your territory and you live in it as you want to and the thought of someone criticising is a horrible feeling. I think your husband has made a lovely gesture and you have to think, this person knows that you have been out of operation for 6 weeks and therefore your house isn't as it would be if you were able to do everything your self. Let them come and clean, remember it may not to be your standards though but it does save you doing it. Also if they do a good job then you may not need to do so much during the next week, just top up what they have done. No matter what DO NOT CLEAN before they come in and knock your self about ok... that's an order (only semi joking).

I had my 6 week post op yesterday and I was so pleased. My scar is healing nicely, everything inside is in the right place, best of all I can drive. I can go swimming and go to the gym, but only walking or jogging on the treadmill, no sit ups or weights until after Christmas. So I am now on the way to total independence at last. I have to say, that over the last 2 weeks I have been sitting in my car moving my feet from the gas to the break in preparation (how sad is that eh?). I have also building up my walking, I have 2 dogs who have been walked by my friend. We live in the country and the dogs do walk off the lead so I don't have the pressure of them pulling on the lead. Because of this I have been able to walk with them and built up my walking. Starting at 10 minutes a day 4 weeks ago and I am now up to walking a good hour yesterday. In saying that though I was tired afterwards but I didn't need to sleep just sit for an hour with a cup of tea. I hope that you all recover as well as I seemed to have done.
Lots of Love to you all.

Debbie and Elleanor that is wondeful that your post ops went so well. One more day and I will get my shot. Hope it goes that well. We do have to talk about this sleep issue! Feeling exhausted but just laying there on the verge unable to sleep is awful!!

I hope all of you have rested well.

Cold in here right now. I am going to check the weather for the day. Tlk to you soon.

Happy Birthday Mrs Willie - Have a good one or as good as it can be. Maybe you will to sleep tonight on your birthday. I often wonder when I wake up if I have really slept, I don't feel like I have. I go to bed oh so tired and then I wake up and move from one bedroom to another in the search of something that will make me cool or even a bit of Feng Shui that will give me a bit of peace. Perhaps when I can I need to consider this Feng Shui business. Probably will be too late then and I'll be an eternal insomniac. Anyway enough of my nonsense. Keep on recovering.
LOTS OF LOVE
