I'm reading all these posts. And its hard to believe that 6-8 weeks have gone by already. Especailly these past two. I truley believe that I would have not been able to make it through all of this without my family, and of course all of my HysterSisters. We seem to all be recovering well and for some reason I am saddened. Saddened by the fact that this part of our lives is almost over. We all thought about the surgery, went through it, and are now recovering and going back to our normal live. My life will be so much better. Pain free for sure. I love all of you and will never forget about you. Can you tell I'm ovulating? lol I'll talk more later. Have a nice evening and a peaceful sleep. God bless. Tina

I feel exactly the same way. I am so happy to have come this far, but sad that eventually we will probably hear less and less from everyone. I plan to keep coming here, eventually we won't be able to post on this thread anymore, but I hope there will be somewhere for us to check in and hopefully keep in touch.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Thank you Cindy for understanding. I agree it would be really hard for me to lose touch with you all. When we can not use this thread I think there will be another spot on this site they will allow us to post. If not I am with Tina we will have to all share emails and start using that route. I really don't think they are going to completely boot us off this site there must be abother spot, but until then I plan to keep posting here, especially since I am still in recovery!!

Talk to you tomorrow. Have a good night.

You'll be able to post on this thread for as long as you want. What will happen is that after the 8 weeks have passed, this thread will be moved to our Clubhouse section and you will be able to post just as you do now.

Hanging loose

There is no way that something weird didn't go on with this entire TAH. My belly is now like a loose, jelly belly and its got gravity taking its toll on it.............

After all this and now I'm gonna need a tummy tuck. For real, I'm serious. It was a bit loose before the surgery but snug. Now, gross... too much skin, and you can imagine the rest without me even saying it.

Why is everything so loose? Did not doing much for these weeks make everything atrophy?????

Any thoughts on this, i CAN'T be alone on this one.

No you are not alone. Many of us have complained about our bellies. Some of us are still dealing with swelling. If it truly is atrophy that you are describing then exercise would tighten you right up. Have you gone for your post op? If you have been cleared for exercise you might want to see if it helps before your put yourself through another surgery with the tummy tuck.

Good morning all. My DH has to work today so not alot of excitement going on here. I would really like to work on laundry but DH has advised me to rest and see if I can get this tummy soreness to improve.
Saturdays are my least favorite day to be housebound and without DH!!
Hope you are all doing well and have something good planned.

Cindy,Tina, Jenn, Michelle, and others,
I went to this club house that Catherine mentioned. There is a section called date club with all these type of threads. People were posting just like we post here. If we all want to continue to post after the 8 weeks we will be fine in there.
Hope that works for you guys!
