Slipperlady, welcome home!!!

It's great to know that you've made it to the other side, now rest and be the "Punctured Princess" that you are-

Good luck -

It's over! I'm home!

I have percoset and oxy codeine. I don't like using the percoset unless I absolutely have to. Haven't used it today- had surgery on tuesday. I think night time sleeping in one position is worse.

It's over! I'm home!

Hello ladies. Thank you for sharing. My surgery is Oct. 31 (Trick or Treat) and the waiting is horrible. Trying to keep myself busy, but it's always there in your mind that you are about to have surgery and you don't know what to expect. All of your post are wonderful. It's helping me to know that there are other sisters out there that are going thru or about to go thru the same thing. DH is wonderful, but won't talk about it, I think he too is nervous. WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS!

You are all angels!

HPort,
You WILL get through this. Right now is the worst and scariest part. Relax because soon it will be over. You'll see. Then you can reassure the other Ladies In Waiting.

So glad you're here with us. This site is a blessing. Before you know it, you'll be on the other side. Until then, read encouraging posts, get your Princess nest prepared, and when those nervous thoughts start creeping into your mind, visualize yourself after surgery, feeling like a new woman!!

Best Wishes!!

He didn't even tell me he was putting me out. I liked that because I wasn't afraid at all. They have nice medicines to help with any pain so be sure to ask for what you need. Whatever problems you have had that led up to this decision, your recovery will most likely be not as bad as what you have already been through. I know I was scared to death and appreciated everyone's comments so much on this board so if I can help to alleviate anybody's fears, I hope I can do so.
Love to all of the 'little sisters' from a new 'Big Sister'
Glad you are home and upbeat! I'm going on a big trip today and will have my hyster done when I reurn. I'm going nuts, not for the operation per se but the recuperation. I can't sit still so I'm sooooooo worried. How are you feeling now, can you do much, walk at least a little! I await your response. Hugs, NOTSO
