Help - Debating trip to ER (update)

Hey everyone, looking for some advice.

I am 4 months post op and feel like this past week I went backwords 20 steps. I had vaginal bleeding (never had post op), and thick milky white dicharge but nothing like a yeast infection. in additon, I have such severe lower back pain (feels like its in front of my tail bone) that I am in tears, can't sleep and have trouble sitting and lying down. ANd if I still had my ovaries I would swear they are throbbing, but htey are gone yet the stabbing pains have returned in force.

I am back on Vicoden (along with ibuprofin 800) and debating the oxy to help with the pain but do NOT Want to take it. I called my OB three times this week and never got a call back. I called urgent care today but they said they couldn't do an ultra sound and should just go to ER.

I fear that (a) they won't find anything and tell me I am crazy, or (b) will tell me that the estrogen has fed any remaining endo and have a new large growth. The last one grew rapidly in three months and triggered the emergency hyster.

Not sure if going to ER would help, although a shot of morphine would be nice. but hte half life is quick and figure I should waitn till Monday and call the Doc.

Anyone have any ideas? similiar problems? Am I losing my mind?Maybe the hot flashes/ insomnia/ depression and severe pain and making me a little crazy.

Any suggstions would be greatly appreciated,
Kathleen

If you feel your pain is bad enough that you need morphine then you DO need to see someone ASAP, even just to ease your mind. So sorry you are feeling so bad.

In my opinion, you definitely need to find SOME doc who will 1) call you back and 2) order you to get checked out. If I had all that trouble four months post op, I would be in a doctor's office pronto. My surgery was only a few weeks after yours, and I can't imagine feeling that much pain/having the discharge/etc. that you describe. Please find a doctor who can help you soon. I'll be thinking of you and hoping that someone can check out what's going on inside of you asap. Keep us posted!!!!!

Go to the ER! The discharge and the bleeding is not in your head! (I think someone else wrote that) I went to the ER 6 weeks post op and I am so glad that I did. It concerns me that your doctor's office never returned your calls. That's not good if you ask me!

Let us know how you are doing.

I agree with everyone else -- get to the ER! I understand your hesitancy to go in case they find nothing.............and in case the find something. Please let us know that you are OK or if you need some extra hugs.
