Ouch~!

I just had to have scar tissue removed and it hurt so bad! He gave me three shots to numb the area and it hurt having that, but it didn't work too well either. Now I am in pain. I feel crampy and uncomfortable. I don't want to have it done again. If so I will request that I be given a more than lidacane to the area. I would get more medication with a colonoscopy! Never again! The scar tissue is where my cervix used to be. He showed it to me after. Ugh~ didn't need to see that! Anyway, I just wanted to vent.
Thanks
Paula

Was this your routine check up for post-op or did you have symptoms? I go tomorrow afternoon due to deep vaginal pain that started 4 days ago.

are you talking about scar tissue inside your vagina. Were you having pain from the scar tussue and did your dr. find this at your 6 wk check up?

I went back to the doctor because I had alot of bleeding after sex. I did not have any other symptoms. He checked it out and found the source. I had my hysterectomy back in March. I seemed to be fine until now. I had spotting like a light pink after sex before but never actual blood. So when that happened it rather scared me.

I had my hysterectomy back in March. I did have some pain if he pushed too far. I didn't have any pain the day I had the bleeding. I was really caught off guard with it. Anyway, I am doing well right now. I am just a tiny bit sore but otherwise I am fine. Hopefully you are just tender and it will go away. If you have granulation or scar tissue you may only need a silver nitrate treatment. It uncomfortable but not too bad. It was definately better than this!
Good luck!
