6 months post op and extremely tired

I finally came back to this site. It has been 6 months since my TAH. I am glad to see that it is not just me feeling exhausted most days. Last week I went to donate blood and they say my hemoglobin was too low to donate even though technically I was not anemic...interesting even after 6 months without a period. I have my ovaries and still cycle with breakouts which is a bit strange. My belly is still numb and swollen from my navel to my bikini cut incision. The doctor said it may take a year. Does anyone else have a numb belly? I sure hope that my energy level will come back. Anyway it is good to know that it's not just me!

Just wondering if you knew what your hemoglobin was?

I am 4 months post op and I too am soo tired i did get a call from my doctor saying my iron was a bit low to go on iron suplaments but honestly I have never felt this tired before even when my iron was low before.
OH well I hope we all get some relief soon,anyone any ideas

Hi to all,
I am going on my six month post-op I do get tired too but not that bad it is getting better. I have pain still in my lower abdominal and in one ovary. I was scared last week and went for an ultrasound. Everthing looked good my ovaries and everthing else. They even checked all my blood work and everthing is great. Doctor states I am sill far away from meonopause.

I guess it is still normal to have pain here and there. I had a partial hysterctomy abdomial cut veritcal may 4 2007 and abdominal mymomctomy same cut Feb 7 2007. They thought they could save my uteris I ended up in emerceny twice in april and then again to have the hysterctomy. My uteris was black after all that. They left fibroids that were degenerated which they did not catch the first operation. so after everthing I have been through i was happy to hear all normal. Good recovry to all
