Thumbs down - No sex drive, sagging tender breasts No sex drive, sagging tender breasts

Hi,

I am new to this site and amazed of how many of us are going through the same thing.
I have had my uterus removed and right ovary due to severe endo.
It has been 1 year post-op. I was worried about my weight before and seem to have maintained it.
My problem is that my breasts feel so tender at times and I feel like they are just sagging. I have tried to get better bras but the sensation is no longer there.
My sex drive is down to nil. My husband is being very patient with me but when he touches me or tries to kiss me, it just isn't there anymore. Any suggestions???? Need help to keep the marriage. I am afraid to try hormone replacements as my body does not take to any.

to Hyster Sisters!

Hi! There sure are a lot of us who have common post-op experiences. It's good to be able to come here to share support, ideas and our experiences to help each other.

Have you talked to your doctor about your symptoms? It's possible that your remaining ovary just isn't producing enough hormones for you to feel your best. While one ovary can take over and produce enough, that's not always the case. If you are hesitant to take hormones, your doctor may know of something over-the-counter that would be worth trying. It's worth asking about, anyway! What hormones have you tried in the past? Hormones that are typically prescribed for menopause aren't the same as using birth control so you may find that there is something you can tolerate if you decide to go that route.

Let us know what your doctor says, okay?
