A Headache AGAIN!!!

B complex is composed of the B vitamins. The one I use is from GNC called BIG 50. It has the following:

Thiamin (B1)
Riboflavin (B2)
Niacin
Vitamin B6
Folic Acid
Vitamin B12
Biotin

There are three more ingr. but I can't read the what they are (the eyes are one of the first things to go)

HRT stands for Hormone Replacement Therapy.... I nap alot too. I'm almost 5 weeks into the healing process but just going to the grocery store gives me reason for a nap. i don't roll out of bed until 10:30a.m., it's gonna suck when I go back to work.

I had headaches until they put me on HRT and now I don't have them. You should talk with your doctor about it.

I have had headaches daily since my TAH on 10/04/07-and I have also been having trouble sleeping. My doc said give it time, I'm only three weeks post-op, and use an OTC sleep aid. Good to know I'm not the only one out there experiencing this!!

Thanks for posting this! I'm 11 days post-op (TAH/BSO) and have had a headache for the last 4 days. I think it's partly insomnia related, and partly the weather changes, too. BUT, it's really hard to get thru the day with the headaches along with the surgery pain.

I feel like crap and just want all this to be over. I cannot take HRT, so I sure hope these headaches are not from having no estrogen!

LSH112 why can't you take HRT?? If I can ask. Once I started my HRT my headaches went away with my other problems like night sweats, fatigue, etc. Just curious.

Hey! I can't take HRT because of my mom dying of pre-menopausal breast cancer (35) and a terrible family history of blood clots on both sides of family. It would be like signing a death sentence for me.

I just don't know how to deal with these headaches. I've had migraines since elementary school, and just hoping and praying they aren't gonna get worse.

I was worried I was the only one... Excedrin for Migraine is the only thing that helps my head. I have trouble sleeping at night also. I'm 5 weeks post op. I can't take HRT either. My sister had the same problem after her hysterectomy and she said it'll pass...it just takes time. I hope she's right cause I'm keep waking my husband up to tell him I can't SLEEP!!!

I am glad that you posted this. I told my doctor that I was getting headaches and he told me it wasn't because of my TAH...I have also started hot flashes and insomina. I don't see the doctor for three more weeks. I had my surgery on 10/22.

My friend told me to try Estoven...I bought some at Sams Club. Thought it would be worth a try. She can't take HRT so she takes these pills. Might be worth a try.
