I knew something wasn't right...

Just an update...
My doctor called me - it's just(?!) a simple/functional cyst so we're adopting a wait and see approach. I can't have surgery yet anyway as I'm still on warfarin after a pulmonary embolism after my TAH, but that finishes hopefully in a couple of weeks, so we'll see how things are then. The pain is not as bad as it was, so maybe things will sort out on their own.

Please do keep us posted. I'm glad nothing urgent needs to be done, and hopefully you will be able to control any pain or discomfort that comes with the cyst.

I am going through the same exact thing right now. I'm seriously at a loss for words. I've been told I have to have surgery. How did your appt go?

I'm glad you insisted on that ultrasound, sometimes Dr.s forget that we know our own bodies and we know when something just doesn't feel right. At least now you know what you're dealing with. Good luck to you, I hope all goes well at your appt.
