Yeah... who came up with "6 to 8 weeks?" Maybe for the incision to heal. Musta been written buy a guy! LOL!

Surgery Type: LSH
Ovaries: Kept 1 or both

Back pain after 4 mos
Is anyone else having back pain? My surgery was on June 21st and some days I am in agony. I'm not sure if I should go back to gyn or to chiropractor.
(AH -left cervix and one ovary, severe anemia, Huge fibroids)

4 Months..still pain and swelling
I had TERRIBLE back pain until I went and had an adjustment by the ortho I work for. I mean terrible. Now, I am fine. He said we overcompensate using muscles in our back since our tummy muscles are all sore and weak from the major surgery and a lot of women have the same problem. It definitely helped me after just one treatment of stretching and manipulation and a massage!
