Most important tip for speedy recovery. Rest, sleep, & take your prescribed medications!! The biggest surprise for me during my early recovery phase was how incredibly tired I was the first 2 weeks. Just go with that and sleep. I am so glad I had the surgery. I now know how much better life can be after a hysterectomy. I really didn't realize how bad I was feeling until I fully recovered!!! I'm so happy with my results! It's normal to be anxious before surgery. Don't let that get in your way of great health after surgery!!! I'm now in my 50's and feel great!!! Happy to give sisters the incentive to get this surgery and get on with life!

Honestly took some time and I feel it was more due to my general apprehension once my body had fully healed. I did start Premarin immediately and took it for 3 years. I now really don't think there is any difference from before. We've always had a great sex life -married 31 years. We just work on treating one another the way we want to be treated!!!! I hope that is or will be your experience too!!
