Hello and
You've found a great community of sisters here. From what I understand that the puffiness will take a bit of time to go away. I'm sure there are others that can answer you better than I can.
I know it's normal to have the puffiness for several weeks after. If it's really painful than I would check with the Dr to be on the safe side.
Good luck and lots of s
Tish

Hi Tish, thanks for the reply. I'm so new here, I have to say this is a wonderful site! I had an enlarged uterus, like 18 weeks preggers, with a lemon size fibroid attached to the back. Everything went well, exept I have this fat looking pelvic area. If I was to wear a bathing suit, I would look strange! Not painful, just PUFFY! yuk!

From what I understand, the puffiness should go down after several weeks. You're still in early recovery phase. Maybe applying cold packs will ease a bit of the puffiness. hang in there. It will get better!
My uterus was enlarged as well and I had a fibroid the size of a "coke can" with cysts (ew).
Keep posting anytime you have a question. This site has been a blessing for me!
