burning sensation in left ovary

i have had burning sensation in left ovary on and off. Is this normal? TAH November 3 2006

If your ovary is there maybe its trying to wake up? I had very,very bad burning sensation in my right side and it turned out to be gas.

I would call your dr if your worried . could be nerves , nerve pain is a burning pain. feel beter

I still get it three months post when I overdo.

I had the burning sensation by my right ovary. It turned out to be a nerve and boy did it burn. I very rarely experience that pain now. But it would go on for hours for a few weeks. I'm now going into my 7th week and I don't have that feeling but maybe once a week if that much. Where before it was hours each day.
