Hi, Just returned from my doc to check my belly bubble or bulge. Don't laugh too hard ... she said that I'm just asymmetrical which is not unusual; however, she said that she thought it was from losing weight prior to surgery.

Then she gave me some info about a new type of liposuction -- some sort of ultrasound with very quick recovery.

My doc mashed around on my belly. I wasn't expecting that. It didn't really hurt, but I could definitely feel the pressure. She said that all was healing well. She said that my walking was fine and to rest, if I get tired.

thanks.

Yep, I did! One day in the shower I noticed that my cervix was coming out. I pretty much figured out exactly what was going on, went to the gyno-surgeon, decided on a full hysterectomy and bladder and rectal repair on the spot.

It's all fixed up now and I'm feeling so great. I had no idea how miserable all that was making me because it sneaks up on you.

Are you OK?

Oh Littlebratt, I was afraid of this I wasn't throwing up though, I can imagine that uses more abdominal muscles than the sneezing and coughing combined. Ouch

I hope it passes quickly for you. It's going to be a tough time, I know.

is it rude to call your dr 2 days in a row if they don't return your call? This pain on my side may just drive me over the edge. I am thinking tomorrow, maybe if I cry on the answering machine I'll have better luck...

Absolutly not! If you are worried about something and are in that much pain you call until you get an answer. Also, they have 1-800-ask a nurse here I don't know if they have that where you are but, they are really helpful and will tell you if you need to go to the hospital or if you can wait and get a hold of doctor. You might call the nurse line number on your insurance card if they provide one too! Don't feel like you are being rude, by protecting your health!

thanks I am pretty sure it'll be ok to wait for the dr to return my call. I will annoy the office tomorrow. I just think I have reached the point where I have been less than 100% for so long, my tolerance for miserablness is ever decreasing. And I thought I had a high tolerance for pain etc before. I am the gal that jokes with the parametics on the way to the hosiptal after car accidents. But ever since this experience I seem to have almost none.

The good news is, WHEN I get ahold of the dr tomorrow, if he wants to see me, he's at the office closer to my apt. And I do like this dr, of all the dr's I have had in my life, this one I like, but then I am not normally accustomed to 1. calling the office for non-apt reasons, nor 2. not having my call returned...

But my lesson in all this, is I should have called friday before the office closed instead of hemming and hawing until after they closed... duh!
