I had my toal hysterectomy vaginally on 10/31/07......went well except the Dr. nicked my bladder and I had to wear a catheter for 12 days.....went back to work the next day.....was tired and could not last a full day.....It was a weird tired......the kind that even when you rest you don't gain the energy back.....I have my post op this week on the 29th.....I was already past menopause and now I am experiencing hot flashes....I am not looking forward to this whole thing all over again in terms of symptons

soooooo tired

I am so tired of not being able to do what I want to do.I tried to take my dogs for a walk.made it out the back door.Thank God we have a fence because both of them saw small critters(chipmunks I think)and took off in two diffrent directions and I ended up on my butt on the ground wandering what in the heck just happend?I tried to do dishes but standing for long periods of time is not happening because i get dizzy.I even tried to take a nap but my mind won't let me.I have not gotten a good nights sleep in a week and I think it is starting to catch up with me.I am taking a sleep med that I have been on for a long time and I think it just stopped working.I still have this nasty looking rash tho has stopped spreading.I hurt and I am crying at just about everything. well thank you for letting me throw myself a grade A pitty party.I feel a little better now.I hope everyone else is doing better than me.

the doctor said the reason for the bleeding was from the skin not matching up where they had stitched and it came a loose.I am so scared it will do it again.I want to go back to work, but scared something will happen.

how I'm doing

Boy I felt crappy this morning... feeling somewhat better now. I slept wrong somehow so my neck hurt and also my throat hurt from my cold.
So I didn't make it to church, even though I got up early in order to do so.

I've not been weepy but really, really irritable and grouchy. Anybody else? I almost wish I felt weepy. It would be a change from the grouchiness. I know my DH is tired of it, and I am too.

Now I'm sitting here with a heating pad... got that familiar ache in my lower abdomen and the ibuprofen isn't quite cutting it.

Still trying to decide what to do about work (see my other thread on this subject). My mother suggested I try sitting at my desk here at home for 4 hours, as though I were doing a half day from home, and then see how I feel. So that's what I'll be doing tomorrow. So that will be my practice run. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Littlebratt, how are you feeling this morning? I imagine that fall is going to be hurting today

I woke up very early this morning with alot of discomfort on my left side. I'm sure it was from walking my dog yesterday. Littlebratt, you might be glad you didn't make it very far with your two?

Was going to go into the office for a half-day today ... NOT. I'll work from home reminded at every move that I'm not ready to do much, still.

Week 4 almost over. This SUCKS!! Going to go shopping tonight for some comfortable clothes that I can wear into the office for the next couple of weeks. No dress code for me LOL, they're just going to have to be happy I'm there at all.

At any given time there are only 4 Recovery Progress Report threads stickied at the top. Each week a new one is stickied and one is unstickied. Yours was unstickied this week to make room for a new one.

no sticky

We've been bumped!
That's okay-- just keep replying and we'll be on page 1 anyway.
