How often do I need an exam?

Wow, it's been over a year since my Hysterectomy! I must say, I've never felt better. My question is, how often do I need to see my doctor now that I don't have a uterus or cervix? I did keep my ovaries. Should I still go every year?

I was told once a year also. Had my postop exam last week and asked about it. She likes to feel the ovaries. She did say she'll do a vaginal as well.

I went for my yearly today. Of course I don't have anything anymore. The Dr. did an exam, but no pap. He said that I only needed to come back every three years for a pap now unless I had problems.

If you have your ovaries, you probably still want to go every year.

My dr also told me once a year to make sure all is good.

My doc also wants to see me annually for an internal and breast exam. I believe she said after 3 (maybe 2) clear pap tests, I would only need one every 3 years - but would still come in annually for an exam.
