Ovaries still there and hot flashes?
Hi, I am having hot flashes and yet my ovaries are still there. Is this normal? Has this happened to anyone else?

Ovaries still there and hot flashes?
Hi 
Yes, I still have my ovaries and I have been experiencing hot flashes and night sweats.
I asked my doctor and she said this was normal for the first two weeks after the hyster.
Hang in there!!! I took my first shower yesterday (came home from hospital on Saturday). Washing my hair felt great!!!
I have my fan on nearby and am drinking cool water.
Just relaxing and enjoying watching t.v.
Hope you feel better soon.

Ovaries still there and hot flashes?
Your ovaries can still be in shock from the surgery --
it never hurts to call your DR and see if they have any suggestions or plans for you

Ovaries still there and hot flashes?
Call your dr if you are worried . my dr said your ovaires go in to a temoporary shock and take a bit to work at full function.
