Swollen Belly

Hi divin...sorry you are feeling so down and about the hematoma...you may want to start a new thread in the post-op section about the hematoma so that you can get others to answer you regarding that and their experiences...as far as the swelly belly, unfortunately it can take months to completely go away....sometimes it may come and go....good luck

Swollen Belly

hi ladies, i am almost 12 weeks post op and still battling "swelly belly" i start off fine in the morning, but by the time i'm leaving work, it starts rearing it's ugly head. by the time i shower,it looks like a small basketball. i am just trying to be patient and wait for it to go away, but i'm not expecting it to be any time soon. i can wear jeans but i have bought a few pairs with some spandex in them. they are a bit more comfortable around the gut. also, i still do wear eleastic waist pants to work at least 2 days a week. much better than when i first went back to work, i was wearing them every day then. so i guess the belly is making some progress after all. hope you are all doing well.

Swollen Belly

I notice mine is more swollen toward the evening especially on days when I overdid!!! According to my gynie, it will be like that for a while. Did anyone ever try "icing" it??? I am just wondering. I guess I have to start doing crunches like crazy now that I am cleared to get back to all activities!!!
