wk 4 & tired
Today starts week 4 since my TAH BSO.This past weekend I was so tired.Saturday I was awake maybe 2 1/2 hours.I took a shower and was back to sleep before my long hair was dry.
Is it normal to be so tired now? I'm not on HRT yet

wk 4 & tired
Very normal to be so tired. At week 4 I felt like I was doing better, but then came down with a nasty cold, and was pretty tired, weeks 6-7 were better, and week 8, I was just super tired. Now going on week 11 (yeah!), and can't believe how great I feel. Hang in there! Rest when your body tells you too, and even when it doesn't - it will get better - I am living proof!!!
Take Care!

wk 4 & tired
Feeling tired around 3 to 4 weeks is pretty common. As we start to feel better and gradually do more, there are definitely days when our bodies scream "Whoa Nellie.... you're not healed yet - take it easy!!"
When you're tired, listen to your body and rest.
Best wishes!

wk 4 & tired
I to am 4 wks post op and some days do to much and the next day I cann't move. I just mention to my family not today and get right back in the bed. But most what's important is that you NOT feel guilty about being tired. And learn to rest when our bodies say rest. Best of luck with your recovery.

wk 4 & tired
I've had four days of feeling great and yesterday afternoon I feel I hit some sort of wall. My belly is...not really sore just in discomfort. Hard to describe. And I'm more tired than I have been.
I feel like I should be getting better and I wonder if my husband thinks I'm faking. I'm going out for a walk this morning and hopefuly it won't be too much.
I'm still only sleeping in two hour intervals all night. That can't be helping.
Hopefully, the good days will outnumber the bad ones. Good luck to us.

wk 4 & tired
In two days I will reach the 4 week mark, and still need naps or at least to lay down on bed for a while. I also have the feeling of being much better one day, and the next all I want to do is sleep.
I think is normal, and when you feel better you expect to continue that way, so when you feel tired again is exasperating.
I have reached the conclusion to sleep when I need to do it, and enjoy the times when I feel more energy.
Hugs
