had my vaginal hys. on friday... stayed one night at hospital .... i can barely move... my lower back is hurting alot. I pee alot also.my thighs hurt everytime i move.
I was in tears last night... just cud not stand the pain...
called dr this morning....it seems everything is normal.... and if i continue peeing alot than she will send me for labs.
i think they spread my legs too far apart.. that my thighs feel like someone beat it with a baseball bat.... had only one bowel movement after the surgery..... nothing seems to be going right.

Finally it is over
I am sorry to hear that you are in so much pain. It will get better. I had my hysterectomy 2 weeks ago. I am feeling better. The first couple days I was home I would cry because I thought I would never feel any better. If I could give you any advice it would be to take a stool softner and maybe some Milk of Magnesia. That seemed to be a problem for me, it was awful. Once I started doing that though things really improved. My back ached as well. It still does if I over do it.
Hang in there and I promise it will get better.
Sending you Hugs!!

Things do get easier day to day
Keep up with your rest and pain medication. You are going to be fine and pretty soon you will notice that your pain and tears will be a thing of the past. One day at a time. Keep yourself busy with TV, movies, coloring, crossword puzzles, magazines, etc. I remember feeling this way when I got home too. It is all completely normal.

hmm
If you are having to do that, I would definately check that with your doctor. It is better to find out it will pass than to worry about it. I had trouble with my left leg going numb on me. I also had some siatica like things going on. Check your legs and your belly to make sure there are no large red lines or anything on them. Call your doctor and tell him what is going on.
