I also got a slight fever from the flu shot. I don't think getting the shot is odd. They try to get everyone to get one now it seems. Good luck.

Hi, I get a slight fever with the flu shot, usually about 99 degrees, but just for a day or two after geting the shot. If you continue to get a fever for more than three days, or is it gets higher, please call your doctor, it could be a underlying Urinary Tract Infection. I got a fever three days after surgery of about 99, didn't think anything about it, then the next day it spiked up to 102 and I started chilling, they told me to go to the ER. Turns out I have a Bladder infection. I have had two since and I am still on antibiotics. I hope yours is just from the flu shot, but please watch your fever closely... It is alway better to be safe than sorry... Good luck and fast recovery..
