Listen to your body
If you listen to your body it will tell you what to do. Tired? Rest! If something hurts, don't do it! I am now wanting to start walking more and I pace myself, always remembering that insides might be healing more slowly than outsides. My outside incision is almost totally healed, just a thin red line and I hope that fades away. I told myself before this that this was a time to change things and I am sticking to 3 small meals a day, no seconds, no eating at night, drinking more water. I am feeling much better and standing up straighter. In the end, this will be so worth it! I know I sound like a cheerleader this morning, but since there is no looking back (not that I want to), I want to go forward with a good attitude. To the ladies in waiting, try not to be scared. I know that is easier said than done but things will be over quickly and you will eventually feel better.

Listen to your body
Yes. It has been three weeks for me and I feel pretty good considering. I am concerned about the weight gain. So far I've managed to maintain but the better I feel, the more my appetite is increasing. I go on the treadmill for about ten minutes. That's about all my body will let me do. I'm anxious to get my body back. I'm also excited that I am expereincing sensations that I didn't lose my sex drive. (I was a little concerned losing my cervix would result in that) I'm getting anxious to have my life back. To those still waiting; this was one decision I have 100 percent peace about. I know it's not the same for everyone. But it's reassuring. Good luck.
