10 days left

Well, my countdown has begun, driving the DR office crazy, not to mention everyone around me. Got the house all clean last weekend. Had my pedi/manicure done last night, and going shopping today for those items that I "think" I will need. My family and friends are teasing me that I am nesting. Very very emotional and really speaking my mind no holding back.... guess it is just a somber emotion that I am feeling, getting scared as well. Mostly of the unknown, told DH that if I could see the surgery I would be fine. Just not too much info for the TVH. Unlike the novasure(that procedure was online) I would feel better knowing step by step how they do it.

Sorry for babbling but no where else to vent

I have a LAVH scheduled for that very same day...and I have yet to do ANYTHING to prepare for it. You are so ready!

I'm going to give my house a good once over this weekend (because I work all week long and I won't get the chance to do it in the evenings).

Hopeful39: I wish I were like you and totally prepared. With less than a week to go, I still have a lot of cleaning left to do. I'm still shopping for supplies. I've done a lot, but I am surprised at how much I still have to do and how little time I have to do it in. I really need next weekend to do all this stuff, but my mother's birthday and my niece's Baptism are going to take up most of the weekend...and surgery is on Monday morning! I'm not sure watching the procedure online would help. To tell you the truth, I'm not normally taken aback by viewing medical procedures, but I really don't think I did myself any favors by watching it. I actually watched the TAH too, and somehow that one seemed far less upsetting (maybe because I'm not having that one!). I think knowing basically what they do step-by-step with a TVH scared me more.

Where can I view the procedure on line? (TAH) That would make me feel better. I put a call in to my Dr to ask how big the incision will be!

I guess it is my way of handleing the stres of it all. the waiting has been very stressful and with just me and the DH now in the house I am afraid that he will not be able to hadle everything.

I would love to find a web site that shows the TVH..that would make my day
