Why am I so weepy?

What is up with me? It's not that time of the month, so why am I so weepy this week? My mom called this morning to tell me my uncle had a stroke, then later I saw a woman fall off a curb and break her ankle. It's like Friday the 13th. I just want to cry. I am not a cryer. Sooooo, is this a hormone problem, a situational problem or what? Am I going to get weepier the closer I get to my surgery?

Hang in there...

I had my day yesterday, and I feel blessed beyond measure to have wonderful friends AND this site to turn to for support. My doc told me yesterday it's almost all hormonal for me at this point, but honestly, it didn't make me feel any better!
It sounds like you have a lot going on right now outside of your own situation, but that doesn't mean you don't feel the pressure of what you are going through as well.
Your emotions are stretched right now... go ahead and cry. Tomorrow things will be a little easier.

Ditto on Java Jane's advice.

Every day is different and while you may find yourself "in pieces" one day.... you can be "all together" the next.

Inside, you're dealing with lots of feelings -many of them due to your upcoming surgery. It's normal. Sometimes it doesn't take much at all to trigger a "tear storm". Let it rain!! You'll feel better once it's all out of your system.

Hoping tomorrow finds you feeling much better and things looking much brighter from your point of view.

Praying you'll take each day as it comes and overcome whatever each day brings.

Why am I so weepy?

You are not alone. Yesterday I was weepy and I hurt but I slowed down and kept telling myself it will be fine, everything will work out.

Tomorrow is another day and you will have a different outlook. Take a hot bubble bath.

I understand exactly how your feel. My uncle passed away last week.

I found that the closer I got to my surgery, the weepier I became. I think it is a natural reaction to what you are going through. You are not alone in this.
