Hip pain after LAVH
I am around my 6 week post-op stage. I noticed within the last 2 to 3 weeks I have began to get these weired pains in my left hip/leg. Its when I go to get up from a sitting position. From the moment I just stand straight my hip feels as if my leg is no longer in the joint and hurts SO bad. Its takes some time for the pain to go away and then i am fine. This has happen alot lately and I am starting to get concerned. Does anyone else experience this hip/leg poping pain?

I'm sorry you're having this problem.
Have you spoken to your doctor about it? If not, it would definitely be a good idea, especially if it's getting worse and you're becoming increasingly concerned.
I hope your doctor is able to help and you feel alot better, very soon. Take care!

Hip pain after LAVH
I had my surgery on the 7th of September and have been dealing with this same issue. I just thought it was because I had just finished up 8 weeks in a knee brace due to a broken knee cap, but now that I see you post, I wonder. I know my doc said that he could take a person who was very athletic, not do surgery but put them on bed rest for 2 weeks and restricted activity for another 4 and they would have aches, pains, and muscle atrophy...and that is someone without surgery! I would talk to your doc if you are concerned about it. I hope you contine to heal well!!
