Disabled Parking?

My dr did not give me one. That would have been nice for the next week or two.

Disabled Parking?

oh, I WISH I would have gotten one. i think my dr. just wanted to ensure I am not going places by not giving me one. LOL I think if he would have, i would have been going places like the next day b/c i had that sticker to fall back on. I really feel like grabbing the motor carts at walmart or the grocery store, but then I feel bad, what if someone had a broken bone or something and REALLY needed one. So, i don't. LOL
That's totally awesome that you got one though. And too, if you live in a bigger city, and parking is usually pretty far from the establishment, maybe he was thinking that too. We live in a pretty small town, so the longest away parking anywhere is usually at walmart and it's not all that far away. Hubby has been dropping me at the door.

Disabled Parking?

My hubby had mentioned this about 2 weeks after I got home. It should be given to you as soon as possible. I didn't get one, but I sure wish I would have.

Disabled Parking?

I may explore it when I go for my next checkup, especially with winter weather approaching. I don't mind walking in the parking lots at all right now, but when there is ice and snow, I don't want to fall.

Disabled Parking?

My doctor said nothing but rest and walking for six weeks, no housework, sex, shopping...

Disabled Parking?

I actually asked my primary physician for a six month temporary handicapped parking plaque. I have fibromyalgia and with the hyst on top of it, I figured it would be a good idea. It's awesome but sometimes it's difficult to find a spot and people stare at you for not have a 'visible' handicap. That's kinda weird!
enjoy it!

Great idea!

I thought of it before surgery but never remembered to mention it. Wish I had.

Disabled Parking?

Oh how I wished I had one of these for the first few weeks after surgery!!! I most certainly wasn't going out shopping or anything (I could barely walk for more than a minute), but it would have been nice for dr. appts. and stuff like that.
