First time driving?

I drove about 5min away from my house to go to walmart on friday and I think the worst part was trying to stay focused on the road.luckly I only live about 5min from anywhere I need to go including the hospital for all of my post op.thank goodness for small towns!!!

Wow. Your drs have a different philosophy than mine. I had a TAH. My dr said no driving for 2 weeks. I'll probably "obey" that but I don't really see the need to.

I am to go back to work at 4 weeks. Work is 25 miles away. Definitely have to drive by then.

I intend to go back to sewing tomorrow. I never sew unless I am "well enough" to drive. So, we will see how that all comes out tomorrow. ONly waiting because sewing room is upstairs and hubby doesn't want me doing stairs.

I like the hopping on one foot idea, btw. I have recovered very well but I was in an accident this summer that left me very sore. I am very fortunate that I can drive to work w/out any real traffic if I want to. Thank God for the backroads in a small midwestern area!!
