I need advice (3 questions)
Sorry you haven't gotten a reply yet. It seems to be a slow day on the site.
If you are concerned about internal stitches I would call the doctor and check with him. Are you bleeding any (from the vagina)? You may have only aggravated some hemaroids--if you have them. I know for the first few days, mine were a little sore and swollen (sorry if TMI) while I was waiting for my first BM. I am still taking stool softners (2 at bedtime) and try to eat applesauce and a couple of prunes each day. Don't forget the water! I read a post a few weeks ago that said juices that start with P are good (peach, pear, prune, pineapple, etc). I also took a dose of Milk of Magnisia around day 2 post-op to help get things moving a little easier.
Not really sure about the kidney infection. You can look it up on some of the medical web sites for symptoms. I usually got bladder infections. Probably similar symptoms plus maybe some back aches thrown in?
Make sure you are pushing the fluids! That will help with the constipation and the possible kidney infection.

 VetTech
I'm so you're having these problems.
If you think there's any question of having torn your internal stitches then you must contact your doctor. I'm afraid it's not possible for us to tell you definitely whether you have or not.
There are all sorts of symptoms associated with a urinary tract infection ~ pain, burning, urgency, etc ... but, again, you'll need to have your urine checked for a definite diagnosis.
Will you let us know what your doctor says? I hope you're feeling better very soon. Take good care of yourself!
