What's making you cry and shake? Are you getting ready to have surgery? Have you already had surgery?

I think Queeva had her surgery of Oct 30. You are probably experiencing hormonal charges.

I went though the exact same thing 2 weeks ago. I was freezing, hot and freaking out all within the same hours. It lasted for a week or so. Now it is much better. Call you doc maybe she can prescribe a low dose tranquilizer to relax you.

It will get better, think good thoughts.

Sounds like hormones, perhaps. Why don't you call your doc and see if he/she can help? Don't suffer alone and unnecessarily. Sending loads of hugs.

Can't stop crying and shaking... feel crazy

It will be okay. I'm had my surgery on September 25th and am still dealing with it. I was absolutely fine for 2 1/2 weeks and woke up one morning and couldn't stop crying, shaking - felt like my heart was going to beat out of my chest and tingling. I called the dr and and they put me on higher doses of estrogen, but I ended up in the ER twice - diagnosed with severe anxiety and panic attacks. I finally called my GP and was put on Celexa and ativan and I'm slowly getting everything balanced now.

I wish they would have told me that all this could happen. My Dr. told me that my adrenals just flipped out. Please hang in there - it will get better and you're not alone - it's very scary and I know how you feel.

Take care

Hi Queeva

I take premarin, and it's been great in controlling my anxiety and other menopausal symptoms. It sounds like you need something to help in the short term with it though. I would get in touch with the doctor again and ask for an anti anxiety prescription like xanax or ativan to help you until you get balanced out.

I'm sure this feeling like you're spiraling out of control is what is causing your feeling of shame. You have nothing to be ashamed of. It's not uncommon for these symptoms to occur, and you're not alone. It's a new feeling to you, but to many of us it's something we've either felt ourselves or someone else here has felt it too.

It will get better. I'm glad you have friends to help you through this time. If it doesn't get better, don't be afraid to go to the ER. Weekends are tough to get your problems taken care of. You shouldn't have to suffer unnecessarily. Remember that it is temporary, and you will get through it.
Hang in there and keep in touch. I'll be praying for you. Peace.

Hopefully the estrogen will help. I've had a lot of the symptoms you have experienced. I felt like I was freaking out too. Too much estrogen I think was causing my problem. Hopefully you will get the right amount and be balanced. I think too low or too high can make you crazy. My adrinalin was going nuts with too much. I had a lot of panic attacks. I hope and pray you get some relief. I'm feeling a lot calmer now on a lower amount. God Bless. Kathy
