Pain Med Question

Hi Dinkum! Thank goodness you made this post! I was feeling like some sort of failure for needing the Norco - like I shouldn't be taking so much, still - but I'm just glad to see someone else feeling that way, too. There's nothing wrong with needing the better pain relief over the OTC stuff. I was told by the staff at my doc's office that indeed, it IS major surgery and you shouldn't try to "tough it out," it's not good for recovery. I'm on my second bottle of 45 Norco. And I was told if I needed more to just call the pharmacy. I'm also a bit far away from "civilization," so I will have no shame in requesting them to have on hand if I need 'em.

I'm glad to "see" you - I wanted to thank you for your preop e-mail - you made me feel like I wasn't going to the Castle alone. s to you.

It's great to "see you" again too! Looks like we both survived our castle experiences and have lived to tell about them!

I hope all went well for you.... and that your recovery progresses wonderfully!

Look forward to "seeing you around" on the forum.

Take care...
