Hi All -

So sorry to hear that so many of you are still struggling. I'll pray for wisdom for the doctors and that they would be caring and encouraging.

Frozen Tundra - Glad your party was a success.

Lucky- I'll be praying for you for your surgery. Will they be able to do it orthroscopically (sp?)? What a drag to need another surgery so soon.

I'm heading to Florida on Thursday to celebrate my Mother in Law's birthday - big family gathering. Can't wait for some warm weather after our blizzard last weekend!

s to you all!

Stodd
Thank You for your concern. I am bummed to have surgery again so soon. Yes they are doing it orthoscopic but still sounds like it will take awhile to recover from. Florida sounds great after what you've had there. Here in Seattle it's just been raining alot, it seems more than usual except for last 2 weeks.

Cidwolf, I hope things improve for you soon. Let us know how things go and we'll be here for you. The waiting to know what exactly is going on is difficult I know. I started with some fresh bloody discharge today....never had that since the first month. I had a silver nitrate treatment on Monday but its always been blackish, greenish after that. I'll let the Dr. know if it gets to be more than just spotting.
Wish I"d been able to go to FRozen Tundra's party...would be neat to meet all of you who have been so incredibly supportive these past months.
Here's to more healing! Hugs from Jo.

Cidwolf: Oh, don't even say that! I have my first mammo next Monday. I'm dreading it! I hoping that since I'm having it on St. Patrick's Day and my doctor's name is Patrick, maybe that will be a good sign. I'm sorry you have been hit with so many problems and have had to go through so many tests, cidwolf.

Stodd: Enjoy Florida! I hope to visit there some day. It's been really warm here the last couple of days, but today is a bit chilly. Of course, my chilly is probably still a hot day where many of you live!

Lucky: I'm glad that they can use arthroscopy for your knee. My cousin had both of her knees done at 36. Her's I think was more a case of joint problems though. Good luck to you!

jmary: I'm sorry you are bleeding today. Take care of yourself!

It's been almost a couple of weeks. I just wanted to see how everyone is doing. I hope everyone that was doing so well is still doing well, and I hope everyone who was dealing with other medical issues are doing better.

Hi Ladies!

I hope everything is going well for you, and positive thughts for those still recovering.

Is anyone still having the swelly belly? When does this go away...I know, it can take up to 6 months, but come on! Finally started exercising again and it makes it even worse...I have lost about 10 pounds since the surgery and the only thing that has gotten smaller is my boobs! (sorry TMI) but still have this belly that gets worse at the end of the day. I can start out with a fairly flat tummy at 6 am, and about 8 pm it is huge again...It is just driving me nuts...

Just needed to vent...thank you!

Good to hear from everyone...I still have a swelly belly...at it's worst near the end of the day. I'm still having pains in my vaginal cuff...saw my gynecologist today who did yet another silver nitrate treatment. That's about 6 treatments now! There is an area that isn't quite healed and causing me a lot of pain especially with intercourse. So here I sit again in pain as the treatment hurts! He wants to see me in another month to check it out...I guess time will heal it. Also, I'm still peeing too often and he wants me to see a urologist. He says the bladder is where it should be and nothing is pressing on it to cause this...but the ultrasound has me laying flat...wouldn't everything be where it should be when you lay down? Anyway, I'm coping...just waiting for that time when I can say...yes! I feel good now! Hope things are going better for the rest of you.

I'm doing good. I'm having some menopausal symptoms but I consider myself blessed.

My insomnia is back. It usually takes 1-2 hours to fall asleep even when I'm really tired. I can't take a nap anymore or it's really bad. But I'm getting through my day with more energy than before the surgery.

I have the swelly belly too. It's gross. I look misshapen.

Also I'm having the joint aches and stiffness. Some days I feel 80! I saw my chiropractor today and he said that he'll be able to help with that. He said the best thing I could do is cut way back on carbs and sugar.
