You really do need to see your doctor. UTI's are very common after a catheter and you need to get that checked out. You will feel much better with the meds they give you for it. As far as #2 I can't help because I am in the same boat

At two weeks it also still hurt for me, but it was more like really really bad pressure at the incision site, and a BM about killed me. I went in for my two week check up and talked to my doc about it and she said it was normal, well by the end of the week it had almost gone away. I am just starting week 3 and it don't hurt for a BM at all and there isn't any more pain to go pee either.
It will go away soon for you, just takes a little time...

so this is normal? I took meds for a UTI, that the dr wanted me 2. Ive been done takin the meds for a few days now. It hurts so bad when i pee that i actually dread going. I was worried that my baldder dropped or something. I dont know, i guess if other people had pain when eliminating, it might be normal...

I'd call your doctor. If you had a UTI maybe it's not cleared up yet.

It never hurts to call.

Please Please go see your doctor.I had the same pain that you are describing after i had my exploratory Lap done in april and i thought that i was normal also.when I finally did go and see my GP because i could not stand the pain anymore I had a MRSA kidney infection that took six weeks of IV antibiotcs to clear up.If i would have gone in right away it may not have got into my kidneys and i would have been on 7 days of antibiotics.so please get this checked out.as my dr put it "It is never normal to want to cry and scream in pain or not want to go pee never!"I am sorry i got so excitied but I would never wish what i went through on my worst enemy and as my fellow "hyster sister" I am looking out for you.
