Try and speak with your doctor again. Has this been going on since the hyst or is it new? The doctor may want to readjust your hrt or he may have other ideas. It is worth a try.

I need a full nights sleep

I am 13 months post op and I still have trouble sleeping. I wake up at least 4 times every night. My dr prescribed Restoril. It lets me sleep through the night. I do feel a little groggy in the am, though. But, finally sleeping is wonderful!!

Well you never know the doctor may not want to mess with hrt may think something else is better. I hear you about the side effects, and I sure would hope you do not experience any. Looking forward to hearing what happens. Take care and feel free to post or pm me anytime.

I am sorry you are having trouble sleeping. I am also. I went to the doctor and got a prescription of trazadone. It is not a hard sleeping pill but it does help. Some days it doesn't even work so I feel your frustration. I am going to go back and talk with her as she said there are better ones like ambien I may want to try. I just want to sleep so I am not so cranky too. Good luck. Wishing you better sleep soon.

I need a full nights sleep

I notice that I have trouble sleeping, too. It has more to do with being so wound up, it's tough to fall asleep.

Before surgery, I had heavy, almost constant flow (all but 2-3 days per month) and I was always exhausted. Now, I have a lot of energy but I can't always "shut it down."

Also can't take HRT, unfortunately, due to cancer concerns.
