Good days & bad days

exactly - they go into "shock" is what I was told so it's like you're in menopause... As things settle down and you're up and moving more -they wake up and then all the symptoms begin to disappear!! I PROMISE!!! You will start to feel better within a few days if it was like mine. It just seems like FOREVER before you do!!!

Good days & bad days

i was 12 weeks post op yesterday and i still have up and down days. my dr told me that it could take up to one year post op before you feel like you didn't have anything done. that said, just take it easy. two weeks is very early on. DON'T do too much !!. put your feet up, relax and try to enjoy the down time. your housework will always be there. you only get one chance to heal properly, so please take it easy.

good days & bad days

Hello ladies,

Just reading all your posts has made me feel better today - thanks! I am 2 1/2 weeks post op, and today is a not-so-good - lots of tears and guilt about not being able to do stuff. My poor dh just doesn't know what to say. I am so lucky, he can work from home, and take care of stuff in between phone calls and work.

Taking a walk outdoors usually perks me up.

Trying to stay hydrated and proper nutrition.

Keep reminding myself that my body is working at healing, and that is hard work even if it is mostly invisible.

best wishes to all,
