da vinci robotic surgery

OMG! That's too funny, I thought it was just me. I had 4 incisions, all about 1/2" long, but the one above my belly button is also the longest and almost looks kind of "puckered", not as smooth as the rest. The one in my belly button is almost not even noticable anymore.

I will be 4 weeks post op on Monday. The pain I've had has been minimal, but I am still sore, have no desire to wear "real" clothes, and have to be careful not to overdo it. The worst part for me is the fatigue. I'm not usually a big sleeper, but I'm exhausted. I sometimes wonder if something else isn't going on because I'm so darn tired!

Anyway, I'm thankful not to have the huge incision like a TAH, and although I know you can't really compare the two surgeries, I have found a lot less discomfort with this surgery than my c-section.......something to be said for that.

I have taken the entire 6 weeks and if this fatigue doesn't end, I may only be going back part time for awhile.......

Good Luck to you all.

Christine
