Yellow Discharge & Cervical Mucus (update)

Hello Ladies,

I had my SAH on the 25th of September and for the past week i have noticed some yellow discharge along with alot of cervical mucus. However the past two days i had stretchy mucus (tmi) sorry. Does anyone know if this is normal? I had some cm before the surgery but nothing like this. I mean when i wiped i really stretched very long. Also right now i have an itchy feeling inside my vagina no burning or anything like that just itchy. My question is to all you ladies is this normal or do you ladies suggest i contact the dr?

Always remember that is what you pay your doctors for. They earn the big bucks while you sit at home and wonder. It always puts your mind at ease when you have heard one way or another that it is normal or not. Never hesitate to call. Let them earn there money..........

I agree with the other ((ladies)) in that you should contact your doctor. The yellow discharge could be dissolving stitches as you're 6 weeks post-op (I experienced that at 5-6 weeks) but the "stretchy mucous" and vaginal itching could possibly be a yeast infection.

The only way to know, for sure, is to contact your doctor. Will you let us know what you find out? Wishing you all the best and hoping it clears up very soon!

Yellow Discharge & Cervical Mucus (update)

well ladies sorry i have not replied back sooner but this itch is really killing me. I called Doc back since the office didn't give her the message doc recommed i take monistat 3. which i purchase at pharmacy i bought the pre-filled appliators one so my dh inserted it in for me and wow wow did it ever burn and itch even more. I couldn't stand it so i had to wash it out at least some of it. I replaced the outside with vaseline instead that did ease the itch and burning sensation. But the itch is defenitly still here is there anything you ladies can recommend i take or do maybe just to ease the itch when i can't stand the cream? Thanks ladies
i also have an appt on Wed if the itch doesn't stop maybe i will just go to the doc's office. Will let you ladies what happens

Well i called my back today and she suggested i go into the office tomorrow. Because the cream did not help anything at all. So she wants to see me to see what else is causing the itch that is driving me because now there is also burning and this odd/strange smell when i wipe. I really hope i get some relief soon because the itching is unbearable somtimes and all i want to do is scratch. I hate this itching make it stop please!!!! She wants to check for sure what is truly going on in there.
sorry for the i just needed to vent as well
