ONe thing about it, although still having a little problems with being tired all the time, the thought of no Periods is quite wonderful. It certainly makes my DH happy, because no more having to stop the rest of our lives to deal with that time of the month. YEAH!!!

We should schedule a nigt to have a "period panty" bonfire, we can dance around the fire throwing in those super plus tampons and pads!

Boy, good idea zoeflower! I think I'm gonna wait til I'm 4 weeks post-op....just to see if I have any bleeding or spotting where I might need my pads. And then I'm gonna search my house of all "period-related" items and have a little bonfire in the back yard! That will be on December 3rd, and I'm gonna mark my calendar. Hey, and I'm also gonna gather up any panties that have become....a little stained, and they're going up in smoke, too!

Thanks for the great idea!!

What a RELIEF!

My daughter has her period right now and I feel soooo sorry for her.
She says that she feels so miserable having to go through this month after months and she's only 16. Normally I had my period almost on the same day that she has hers and now she's envying me!
After going through some rough times with pain and heavy bleeding its very liberating knowing that it's gone for good!

One Week Post-Op

YAY is about all I can think of to describe my feelings about not menstruating ever again. I too am so relieved not to have to deal with planning everything my husband and I do around my period. I am just in the recovery stage of having my TAH/BSO. So, this joyful feeling is going to take a bit to come to grips with but I am willing to wait!

I'm with you!! I'm 3wks post op & half expecting Aunt Flow to come..
Just think of the $$ we'll be saving!

Hmmm, if I can get LASIK & fix my eyes, I could save more $$ on those supplies as well!! LOL
