Netty67, YES I know the feeling, I too have the same feeling, and if the TV has a loud noise while playing the normal noises, it grates on my nerves!! I really think my HRT needs to be higher, I wanted to start out really low my patch its was estradoil 0.225 now I moved up to 0.375 starting today, I hope it helps. I have had knee issues the past 2 months, one doctor told me my HRT plays an important roll in my healing process.. umm, interesting. GOOD LUCK.. I am going to see my endro dr for my yearly follow up in Dec. I am going to ask him for a blood test to see where my hormones are at. I too have read it can take a year to fully recover. HAPPY RECOVERY TO US ALL!!!

Netty -

Your ovarys might be 'asleep'. Many of us experience this after the surgery. Its like they stop functioning for a little while early in the healing process. Normally resolves itself in a month or so.

So you could be experiencing low hormone kind of symptoms even if you kept your ovary's.

I found after my hyst, I was very heavy feeling for the first 4 weeks and even at 6 weeks was very nervous about how I was going to get through full days of work (I went back 6 hours a day for a week). More so I was nervous about driving home exhausted but it went ok and the energy did come back.

From 1 to 4 weeks, I found I could do just about anything I wanted for a hour and then I needed a nap. I have heard Drs say increase your activity. Activity wasn't really my issue, IMO, I think it was my bodies ability to multi-task. And the main task had to be healing.

Best wishes in your continued recovery,

Julie
