Tugging and Pulling pain near ovaries

hi, So much healing, for such a short surgery. I really had no idea about so much nerve stuff. I wish I had gotten some hospital exercises. I wonder if i missed that piece somewhere along the way. I reviewed my paperwork and nothing was there.

They didn't give me any at the hospital, either.
Guess it isn't standard...

Tugging and Pulling pain near ovaries

I just called my Dr. today, in fact, about the twinges & pulling pains I've been having (since I've been back to work.) I was told it was a normal part of the healing process. After resting for so long & not doing much, your body does need to adjust to things.

I did have a few 'weird' feelings around the 2nd week but that was when I was starting to get antsy & becoming more active..

Tugging and Pulling pain near ovaries

I had both ovaries removed and my uterus in April of this year and I still feel like I have ovulation pains periodically. Feels more like a pinch or right before I used to ovulate or have a cyst rupture. Maybe it is phantom pain or just residual movement from the scar tissue inside? I see s chiropractor and it helps

phantom pain is a strange concept. I've been considering going to my chiro, but I just don't know if I want to, right now. He will see me, but I can't even think of lying down on his table. He might be able to do something. My back has felt whacky this week. I'm about 4.5 weeks postop.

I'm at the end of week 5 and have had (and still do ) that tugging pain but only on my left side - I was afraid it might be a hernia ?

I kept one ovary and I too had that pain, I am just about 3 months post op and I still occasionally have some pain where my ovary is. It is still tender if when my tummy is pressed on too hard, but it does get better! This was a major surgery and it takes time to heal. Once I hit the six week mark I noticed a major difference in how I felt and energy level. I started back at the gym at that point, and since I have worked my way up to one hour on the treadmill and it is great! Give it time. Blessings on you.

My back feels wacky too! I really feel like I need to have it adjusted. But, I don't think I could lay on the table. They do have tables with cut outs for the tummy for the preggies. I wonder if it is okay to have an adjustment 3 weeks post-op.....

That is what I feel, that feeling right before a cyst rupture. Strange. If it is scar tissue it would never go away, would it? I would think it would have to be surgically removed. If so it is nothing like the pain I had pre-op so I guess thats good.

I do have a question I would like to know how at the end of your replys it says what you had done ...........how do you get that there do you type it everytime?????????

Hi Jeffswife,

I noticed you wanted to know how at the end of someones replies that it the same thing. All you have to do is edit your signature. That's where you type what you've had done.
Hope this answers your question.
