Light Bleeding 9 days post op!

Angel -

If its very light volume, you might want to call your Drs service or maybe even just tomorrow. I would worry if it was high volume, included clots or was in conjuction with a fever and then head to emergency.

I had this at about 8 days until about 12 days. As the stitches start to dissolve, sometimes they release little bits of trapped blood behind them.

Ofcourse, this can also be your bodies way fo saying your overdoing it. Only you can answer that question for yourself.

Best wishes on your continued recovery,

Julie

Light Bleeding 9 days post op!

I had spotting about 10 days out. It lasted for 2 weeks. The nurses at the hospital said that I would have it due to stitches dissolving.

Light Bleeding 9 days post op!

My doctor at my week check up said that I could have light bleeding from the internal stiches and stuff(can't remember what else she said) coming out. Even though I had not bled before then at all and still have not had any bleeding. So, you are probably okay. But, like was said earlier if its light and no fever I would just call dr. tomorrow. Don't worry about bothering them. Better safe then sorry.

Light Bleeding 9 days post op!

I woke up at 2 am go to the bathroom and had bright red bleeding and a small brown spot on the toilet paper. Could this have been an internal stitches? Does the bleeding taper off? I'm sure I'm doing to much.

It is reassuring to read others have been lightly bleeding too. I woke up ysterday on day 10 lightly bleeding, and today it seems less, but I'm still getting a little pink on a panty liner and toilet tissue. Will check with the Dr in am, but glad I'm not the only one! thanks ladies.

I woke up on day 15 with drown discharge and saw some stiches on the paper. I've since then been having light red bleeding off and on. Just see it when I wipe. I go to my dr on Wednesday.

good luck everyone
