Just having a rough day

Today is day no.7 with this terrible migrane. My DH had me in bed all day yesterday and it still hasn't gone away yet!! My energy level is at an all time low right now, probably because of the migrane. I almost feel like chopping my head off to make the pain go away, but my children probably wouldn't appreciate that much. I JUST WANT TO BE NORMAL AGAIN!!! I go to the doctor tomarrow hopefully he can help me. Please pray for some kind of relief, I sure could use it.

When you have pain, that's about all you can think about.

Here's hoping you get some good relief very, very soon.

I hope you get to feeling better soon. I can only imagine how hard it must be to try and heal with that annoying migraine everyday. Please let us know what the doctor says.

I feel bad for you with your migraine pain added to the surgery recovery. Headaches are unfortunately very common after this operation it would appear (listening to the number of times it comes up on this site) and I experienced headaches and migraines for 2 weeks after mine but not non-stop. Did you keep your ovaries? If not it could be the hormone imbalance causing the migraine. I suffer from migraines and they were always worse with pregnancy and time of the month. My doctor took me off the pill when I was 21 because of the migraines they caused as he said it was a warning sign for deep vein thrombosis (good call as I developed one 5 years later) and I am not allowed to take any hormones anymore. If this migraine is new for you and there is any possibility it may have been caused by hormone replacement please call your doctor and let him/her know.

I hope you're feeling better soon. Nothing worse than a migraine on top of everything else. You might want to call your doctor if you aren't getting any relief - perhaps this could be hormone related?

I was only able to retain one ovary, Is that enough of a change in hormones to cause this?

I would definitely think it's possible. I kept both ovaries but my hormones were wacky post-op. I had unbelievable night sweats, problems sleeping, etc. It can take the ovaries awhile to "wake up" following surgery.

I kept both ovaries and felt very hormonal emotionally for a few weeks after surgery
