How much red is too much red?

I had some bleeding last week that i asked my doc about and she said"as long as it is not bright red bleeding it is nothing to worry about since the stiches and the tissue that the stiches are in are starting to come out.You cant really see the stiches in discharge but as the disolve they and come out in the discharge.if you don't pass anything it is ok as long as you don't have a fever or anything to indicate a infection.Hope this helps.happy turkey day!Joellen I see you were up in the wee hours of the morning with me last night.are you feeling better?I hope so.

How much red is too much red?

Littlebratt, I was up til about 3AM last night, hunched over my stove making lemon bars -- which were a big hit today thankfully!

Thank you for that information. I'm certain I'm fine, it just threw me for a bit of a loop, wasn't prepared and it sure was different!

I survived Turkey Day!!! I'm home resting now, doing okay. Not bleeding as much but still very sore. I am feeling better

One thing I've noticed though, it's very strange. When I venture out of my home, I get very emotional. What's up with that ??? I wonder if I feel differently going out into the world without my uterus LOL. Was it _that_ important ?? Or maybe I just know I don't feel quite like myself yet so that makes it harder for me to be out and about?

How much red is too much red?

I had my hysterectomy on Nov. 2 this year and I had just spotting before and now for about the last five days I have had bright red bleeding and it's more then I had before. I never had stop bleeding but not as much as now. I am a 36 year old house wife and am trying to take it easy but after talking to other friends that haved hysterectomys they say they were just fine and were doing more then I am by this stage so I don't think I'm over doing it but feel like I really should be better. What am I doing wrong?
