Abcess or Hematoma? Need help!

Mich, are you asking me? Or Lulu? If me -- the answer was that I was passing out from the pain being so bad. I've delivered a child naturally and that couldn't even come close to touching the pain I was in with the ruptured abcess. I have an unbelievably high tolerance for pain, but when they asked me to rate my pain (the lovely 1-10 scale), I simply said that I would have to feel better to die. And that's when they told me I came very close to doing just that...

Lulu -- a meatball sized lump could be scar tissue forming, or an adhesion or even a hernia. Either way, your doctor would be the best person to have check it out, as it doesn't sound run-of-the-mill to me.

Thanks toastntea. That gives me a good point of reference. After 2 forced natural childbirths, I've always measured my pain by whether it hurt more than that. I figure if it hurts less than that, I'm okay, if it hurts more than I know I'm in trouble. Now you've confirmed it!Thanks for sharing!
